It amazes me really. Wolves were the worst team by a long mile in the PL last season and they were pretty near the worst the previous year. Yet they are about to recieve 14 million for one player and want upwards of 10 million for aother, not sure how much kightly went to Stoke for but if that's what 30 million pounds or so buys you these days, the game's gone crazy.

Good post It's easy to look good in preseason if you are trying a little harder to impress than the players who've been here a little longer. Pre season form means absolutely nothing. The two lads are clearly talented though but I'm not goona get all giddy about them until I see them preform in a NUFC when it counts. Their arrivals should not excuse the lack of activity on the first team level, which is now getting quite alarming.

I don't think this saga's over but I agree with your last point, you just can't stand still in this league, and we are doing just that right now, with no real glimmer of hope that that will change. They might still pull a rabbit out of the hat, they have a number of times before but not looking good right now.

What a complete load of crap. Cleverly has been outstanding, it's a bloody decent side, going forward we look dangerous, the only things you got right there was that a dm would help out the defence. Remember its still pre season for these lads no match fitness, it's a really decent performance by the team, against a side clearly that's been together longer and is much further on in the match fitness sense.

Are these 90 min games ? That's a hectic schedule for the lads.
