Fuck off with the spectacular, Provan is right, stupid waste offf an opportunity
-
Obvious Push, this time webb gets it right.
-
We've not created a single chance in the second half, the lack of quality is so telling at the moment.
-
Unlike a lot on here I like Taylor, but that's probably the worst right back performance I've seen in a long time, he's not a RB.
-
That was the final score on Moyes's first vist here. Can't see it being repeated, we'll need an Arsenal style turnaround in the way we are playing to turn this around. 2-1 flatters us really, there's no creativety out there without Barton and it's keystone cops type defending at the minute.
-
We've not been brilliant, but Osman's goal was as much about them being great today as it was about us being defensively poor. Need to give credit where credit's due. Totally disagree, there was nothing great about that goal, it was a break we should have dealt with, even then the finih was lucky going through Enrique's legs.

Terrible first half, deserve to be behind. The defending for their first was comical.
-
I'm sorry but that's a steaming pile of dog shit. The lad is probably in the conversation for the best left back in the division. Those don't just grow on trees and 10 million will not gaurentee an adequate replacement.

He's an enigma for sure. When HBA gets back it'll be interesting to see what pardew does with him, does he play HBA in place of Jonas, or just behind a single striker. Surely we can't move Barton from the right, Nolan and Tiote aren't moving in the middle. Then you add the likes of Ireland and Gosling to the mix, we certainly got options in there.

I always find it funny when teams go on about anting to make Europe, but when most of them get in the UEFA cup/Eurpoa league or whatever the call it these days. They don't give a shit about it and play weakened teams half the time. For the record, if we still had a fit Andy Carroll, I think we would have a good shout at making 7th spot, because I really haven't seen too many teams outside of the top 5 who have been consisently better than us. And we've played both the current 6th and 7th clubs off the park each time we've played them so far.

Brum are in a great run right now. Only a few weeks back they were in the bottom three. But if they beat us tonight then they'll move ahead of us into the top half of the table. Seems like they've got Zigic playing well. Worries me a little this game, I think we are more than capable of winning it but we've got to improve our cutting edge, after the Blackburn game. Going for another draw, maybe 1-1, we've got to start turning some of these draws into victories soon otherwise we'll be anxiously looking over our shoulders.

I have the whole game on my PVR. It's perma paused at the point where Barton takes the free kick leading up to the 4th goal. My PVR remembers where I paused each programme so I just watch the goal, jump up in the air and rewind it back to the same point. I've watched at least once every day since the game.

I've never been critical like others have been of Danny, I thought he was solid even last year. But he's progressed really well this year and close to being part of our core group of players along with Colo, Enrique, Barton, Tiote and Nolan.
-
The only real problem I have with Pardew right now is his use of "was" instead or "were" shockingly bad cockney grammer.

I don't think i'll ever be able to take Arsenal fans seriously again tbh OMG that site is crazy. The worrying thing is all their fans agree with him. Conspriracy against Arsenal, worst ref of all time. Barton shouldn't be allowed to challenge for a ball and wion it cleanly with no studs showing because he could so easily have broken the dear gooners leg had he gone in 2 foot with studs up. Awful awful ref lost us the game. Fuck off Arsenal fans seriously just fuck off.

I'm sorry but that's the biggest load of crap I've read here. I'm with Yorkie, there was only one dodgy decisionand that was the 2nd pen, but even then I can see why he would have given that, look closely at Rocisky clearly barges Williamson and puts the guy off, it's still soft though as that sort of stuff happens all the time. Anyway it's a moot point because of the clearly onside Best goal that was not given, evens it out. There was a clear difference between the malice and anger shown by the Arsenal player to a perfectly fair challenge and the just wanting to get on with the game that Nolan should, he was carded for that and that was fair. It seems like everyone is trying to take away from what was a truely epic comeback. The referee, did pretty well in my book, and he certainly didn't hand us the draw, that was all down to the players who put in a great effrot and should excellent spirit in that 2nd half.

Your future after selling Waddle and Gazza was pretty good though, wasn't it? For a while at least. Nope it was dreadful, we were relegated the season after we sold Gazza, it was only after KK came back 3 or 4 years later that things turned around.

Got to say lost a lot of respect for him over the last week.

Probably been mentioned before but I can't be arsed to check. Thought it was funny reading Nolan's piece in the Ronny Gill : http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/newcastle-united/nufc-news//tm_headline=nolan-it-s-time-to-move-on-from-andy-carroll%26method=full%26objectid=28107903%26siteid=72703-name_page.html Where he tells us we have to move on from Andy Carroll, only a day after he's been on LFC tv talking about how delighted he was Carroll's now a Liverpool player. And once again he points out how delighted everyone is that Carroll got his move. Not really very happy with Nolan's actions here tbh.

I've been pretty calm about our chances all season, never thought we were really in any danger. However now I'm starting to get worried, 10 more points will be enough, for sure, but physchologically we are on a huge downer and I can't see that changing anytime soon. The one solace I see is that we are strong defensively and that might just get us through some games if we can nick a goal at the other end somehow.

I wish I could switch alligances for any of the teams I follow in any sport but I can't, trust me I have a pretty motely crew: NUFC of course Dolphins in the NFL Mariners in MLB Falcons in Rugby No idea why I follow the Mariners, I've never even been to Seattle, but kind of lost interest in baseball over the last few years, so it's not a big deal that they stink to high hell. The Falcons gave me my last real success as a fan, I would go to all the home games at Kingston Park during that era of League win and 2 cups. Unfortunately they've reverted back to mediocraty from where they came. The Dolphins, oh the Dolphins, they hurt as much as the Toon do these days. Two back to back 6-7, an unexciting brand of football that fits perfectly with the head coaches character. I'm hoping in many ways we sink so badly next year, because there's a franchise QB coming out of College call Andrew Luck who's the only thing I think capable of returning us to some level of competitveness. But we'll have to be picking number 1 in the draft to get him. We'll also get a proper head coach too. The only thing for us Dolphinfans to cling onto is the only team in NFL history with a perfect season, but that was back in 1972 !!! And of course the toon. The only trophy in my lifetime was lifted 1 month after I was born. Every year it's the same old shit of self distruction, promise unfulfilled and every year we keep coming back for more. Why ?? I fucking hate this team but love them more than anything, like a wife towards an abusive husband I guess. Trouble is there's no hope for a trial seperation let alon a divorce, the dye has been cast, and I'm stuck with them like it or not.

Not the game we need right now. Fulham have hit form and we will be up against it at their place. Happy with a draw, think we'll lose 3-0.

I seriously don't give a crap about how it went down, I'm just disappointed that he's gone but I guess it was always going to happen when silly money was put on the table. Indulging the conspiracy therorist for a bit I think it was pretty simple situation. Liverpool want to buy, talk to Newcastle get a feeling for how much money it will take, talk to Carroll's agent feel out the situation see if there's interest and what sort of salary they would need to pay. Liverpool make a bid, Newcastle reject it, probably citing Carroll will be due a cut of it. Liverpool speak to his agent, work out some sort of deal to pay the Loyalty bonus or tell him no further bid will be made and if he wants to move then it'll be up to him to force the matter. Bingo transfer request is tabled and off we go. From Carroll's point of view, he would be at least tripling his current salary, along with a hefty signing on fee. Yes he loves NUFC, he's a Geordie and always will most probably but he also realises that it's a short career and the ownership and management of the club is volatile to say the least. It's easy for us to call him an un loyal, money grabbing so and so, but if we were all in his position we would be foolish not to at least consider the opportunity set ourselves up for life with financial secruity and capitalise on our reputation. I'm not saying I would leave NUFC too, in his position, but I would certainly think about the money I would be turning down to show loyalty to one of the worst owners in English football.

From Beeb: 2212: Newcastle fans - are you worried how you're going to replace Andy Carroll? Well BBC Radio 5 live senior football reporter Ian Dennis says the club are "still working hard on trying to secure a late deal". Fingers crossed, Toon fans, fingers crossed.
