Would have got a point at least if we had subs tonight, but get spanked of Villa, we'll be experiencing a period of relegation like form. Even our injury crisis shouldn't bring that.
-
What the hell has happened to us. Yes we've been fucked over by injures and bans, yes city are mint, but we shouldn't be this bad. Getting worried for Howe is this continues.

Newcastle United vs Man City - 13/01/2024 @ 17:30 (Live on TNT Sport)

That bench again ffs. Just as it was looking like we might have options again. Tino, Tonali, Joe, Murphy, Barnes, Anderson, Wilson, imagine what it could have been like with those available. Think around 1-4 is quite probable unfortunately. -
Fuck, putting it like that feels even worse. Barnes and Tonali - fair to say both have been disastrous.
-
Barnes man. What the actual fuck
-
Average wage of nearly 100k seems very high. Surprised at that. Can't say I'm very hopeful for the next few years if we're already hitting a financial ceiling.
-
God that's fucking miserable to read. FFP man Would be devastated to lose Bruno, Isak or Botman because of this nonsense.
-
In a couple of weeks, I'm expecting Luke Edwards to tweet Barnes has had a set back
-
Hope I'm proved wrong, but it's starting to feel like FFP and FMV means the gap to the breakaway 6 is insurmountable, with ourselves, Villa etc taking a CL slot being the exception rather than norm.

FA Cup Third Round: sunderland (A) 06/01/24 @ 12:45 - Live on ITV

Hard to call. 2-1 either way. -
Not really. Think he's been a bit critical of the regime and what undeniably amounts to sportswashing a couple of times (which as a journalist is not unreasonable), but generally covers us purely in sporting terms, and has been critical of FFP, FMV and the behaviour of the break-away 6 for quite a while now.
-
I still cannot understand what the fuck is wrong with Harvey Barnes. Assuming he's not back till Feb, that's what, 5 months out? Willock, like Wilson, I fear will be a perennial crock, so we can't rely on him in any case. I want a public apology from Tonali before I welcome that fool back.
-
Villa and City will be licking their lips. They'll destroy us. The Mackems will probably start to feel confident too ffs.
-
We're desperately bad. Fatigue and injuries don't cut it when we're appalling week after week.

Fuck, would be happy with a 2-0 loss tonight. But starting to fear a proper battering of four or five conceded. -

So Wilson out ffs. If it's not one, then it's the other New striker and right sided midfielder (Almiron seems worse than useless at the moment) should be priority, but don't see much happening in Jan window. -
No lower that 7th is the target now. Should hopefully ensure we still keep our better players and the owners don't give Howe the chop. Would be devastated if Mourinho comes in - though he may realise we're very limited in spending due to FFP and FMV and not want to bother anyway.

We could be 3-1 up in the 89th minute in this game, but would still lose to a 101st minute winner. -
If we somehow beat the scousers, Villa could go top against us. Hopefully we'll beat them both
-
fuck me, what I'd give for some Villa type luck this season

Jesus, this could be 4 or 5 nil. -
Yep. Something very bad is going on here. This isn't just some bad luck or temporary drop in form. Next three games could also be absolute battering, with Villa getting proper revenge for the opening fixture.
