  1. Not against the guy, and if he joins then, Ill hope he does well, and those charges against him aren't what they seem.

However, there's jut a bit of discomfort regarding the guy for me. Can't help that.

When the whole thing transpired in January I was fuming.

  2. Lets not forget Remy had agreed to come here, and was satisfied with the money that had been offered him. It was clearly a good enough upgrade on whatever he was getting at Marseille.

We have a number of good players here from his country who are all paid well, and are happy here too. He was in contact with them, and was friendly with them.

I mean ... it was just a shit move by the guy. Very, very weak.

He was well within his rights to do it, but it was a punk move.

  3. Yeah, I'd love to see how many people on here if offered a job in another country they had no affiliation too would reject a job offering about 25% more money.

No excuses, it was a punk move by Remy. Simple.

  4. So Remy acted the c*nt, f*cked us off, joined a relegated team, acted the c*nt, (allegedly) r*ped someone, continues to be a c*nt, has an agent who is an uberc*nt....

hey, are we signing Remy? Loic Remy? Coool......

    No.

I have to say I'm a bit dissapointed to say the least, but I don't want to harp on about it too much, because most people seem to be happy about it.

  5. Is Benteke for real?

What a cheeky git. The guy thinks he's that nice already?

If this is Chelsea I will roll around laughing. I would take Lukaku ahead of Benteke 10 times out of 10 still.

If I was a Villa fan I'd be fuming. Honestly cant believe the interest in Benteke is on this level. Hes just getting started. It's pathetic.

  6. A bit of bravado today about still being the boss and being in charge ... yada yada yada.

Actually quite annoying, as he comes across a bit full of it. Considering how awful he was last season he really should be ecstatic he's still working.

    Plonker.

  7. f***ing hell, what a useless board.

    Kone  :anguish:

    Solid signing for yous, no?

He's an ok player but it's a terrible signing financially. We can't afford to sink £5m on a 30 year old and not see a penny of the fee back. Heard he's going to be on 40/50k a week too.

What I said from the very moment we were linked with him. Wonder what kaka makes of this post.

  8. Was such a daft move for Sinclair to go to City. After he struggled to break into Chelsea's side, to reviving his career at Swansea to leave that for City and have things stall again...

Would add a lot to our team but I'm not getting excited about any potential signings until I see them holding/wearing the shirt.

I'm not getting excited about any potential signings until Pardew plays them in their right position.

  9. He's clearly an upgrade on some of our wide options, but I think Sinclair's pretty average.

He's along the lines of a Lennon, Walcott, Nathan Dyer, Sterling etc.

Just a quick direct wide player. Usually very underrated these sorts.

They can cause all sorts of problems despite not being as high profile, as some of the more creative wide players from abroad.

We desperately lack this sort of player imo.

He is definitely not the finished product as you've implied, but is still young enough to develop a lot further with more playing opportunities.

I do understand where your coming from though, for sure.

  10. Looks like Swansea will get Bony for £13m.. gutted we missed out/didn't bother going for him.

Wow ... £13 million seems a bit silly though.

Should have been £8 - 10 million at the very most.

  11. Yeah, definitely plays more from that left side, and loves to cut in and shoot.

Would really be a good, sensible signing.

Hope he's sensible with his wage demands, as that could be a big issue.

  12. Now that would be a great signing. Can definitely fill that wide forward roll alongside Ben Arfa and Cisse.

Probably won't score as many goals as a Remy or Aubameyang, but he'll get a few and will create chances. Great pace and very direct.

  13. Great choice by Gosling.

Considering the performances Holloway got out of some of the players at Blackpool, when he last was in the prem, Gosling will get his chance.

Holloway's 4-3-3 should also help him, if he just focuses on getting in the box from midfield and trying to score, like Lampard did in Chelseas 4-3-3 back in the day.
