  1. If sold to Liverpool especially after the Ekitike thing, everybody should be removed from their position at the club. Tea lady included!
  2. To be honest, a part of my thinking that it might not be the worst to move on is the groin injury thing as well. And so if he is also no longer a 100% in because we are not able to match the salary level he is now at, probably best to just be done with this.
  3. Actually, I take it back. Provided it's outside of the Premier league I'd go to £120 million.
  4. Yeah ... I'm over it now. Ready to move on if we can get at least £150 million for him, and has to be from outside the Premier League. Hopefully we can manage to achieve that.

Around £35 million + £5 million should be the max I think.
  6. I'm sorry but if he's sold it better not be to any Premier League team, especially with the way they've been punking us on transfers. It would be completely unacceptable. It's a shame Barcelona are such a catastrophe financially as that would be the ideal spot to send him to. I was reading that PSG are looking for a more technical striker and are likely letting Kolo Muani and Ramos leave. I'm sure Isak would fancy playing in that team under Enrique, and they would pay him very well. Hopefully they would then stop any of these so called top Prem clubs from winning the Champions League. If push comes to shove call them up and make something work.

Not what I've seen from him.

Yeah, exactly. Isak is absolute top tier, however, he is just not the most robust of players and also doesn't get through a full 90 performing at high energy. We're already hearing about thigh strains and groin issues again as the season is fast approaching. We need a very capable option at striker added to this squad. Wissa would be as good as we could get. Ready to go from the outset with no bedding in or adjustments to the league needed.

I think once the matches come around and everyone can then see the reality of it coming together on the pitch, then it will really hit home how good this could be. Would be nice if they could just get the deal over the line first though!

Another favourite of mine regarding the signing of both he and Elanga is "underwhelming" We finished 5th last season and if this plays out right, we will have added two players that between them had 25 goals and 15 assists in the Premier League last year. They both managed this at clubs that weren't as good as Newcastle, and so they will be surrounded by better players and playing for a better manager this time around. It's quite an exciting prospect for me personally. For others not so much I guess.

19 goals and 4 assists in the Premier League for an ordinary Brentford team. "He is only fine ..."

    They've sent Longstaff back.

So much wrong in that post. Maybe there's a different Wissa out there that was being watched!

Exactly how it worked when Isak was paired with Wilson.

He's going to be playing Champions League football and will have loads of starts because of all the extra games, and will also be paired with Isak at times too. Going to get a nice bump in wages too!

Somebody wants us! This helmet hair guy seems to have been spot on with his reporting on this. Hope he's right all the way through.

Really good point. We did sign Wilson when he was 28 and he still made such a big impact. Getting a fitter more versatile version to rotate and mix in with Isak would be pretty good going.

Looks like Wissa is on around £25,000 a week at Brentford. Elanga's wage at Forest was similar too. They both probably go up to £70,000 at the very max? That would definitely help towards offering Isak a decent new deal.

If he joins and has a few good years here, and appears in the Champions League, getting a bit more visibility, we will probably get this money back from Saudi. Think this would be a very shrewd move if we can pull it off.

He was so good last season man ... If it goes through, I genuinely think people will be taken aback by his performances. I'm guessing most just didn't tune into Brentford games much, which is fair enough.

Is it bad that the Hope tweet actually makes me feel less confident?
