  1. Cavani really not coming to his right this tournament, has a lot to more to give then this

Watching him you can see he's talented, but he's been trying to do too much. Should keep it a bit more simple.

  2. Forlan always seems to get it on target. Every single time. Fergie absolutely fumbled the whole situation with Forlan. Looks more ridiculous with every single game.

The pricks ruined every South American he's bought.

Yup, you can see he doesn't quite trust them as much.

Regarding Forlan the typically clueless English media were very quick to make him out to be an absolute joke and labelled him a bust and I'm sure that didn't help things.

For a striker not scoring for his 1st 23 games i think it was fair enough.

    Hindsight is wonderful.

I hear what you're saying, but he clearly wasn't playing consistently for the full 90 mins or anything. I just think there is a terrible habit in this country of writing off foreign players so quickly, and more disturbingly managers tend to buy into it and allow this to affect their judgement. If it was left to Andy Gray Drogba would have been sold after his first month at Chelsea! To hear him now wax lyrical about the man just makes me sick. Complete retard Andy Gray.

Aye Tevez has never been the same player since he decided to move to Man Utd...

Had already proved himself at West Ham to some extent though. Remember he struggled at West Ham initially, and had he gone straight to Man U I'm not sure he would have had the chance to turn it all around.

  5. i know it's wikipedia but i do remember reading elsewhere too

Despite success on the pitch during the 2009–10 season, Kazim-Richards had an argument with Fenerbahçe fans after being taken off the pitch in a match against İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor.[9]. Against Beşiktaş, Kazim-Richards was red carded for swearing at the referee and banned for 4 matches.[10]. While serving his ban, on the same night that his team mates lost to Kasimpasa, the media reported Kazim-Richards was out on the town. This report was denied by the Fenerbahçe board who released an official statement. The following day, pictures of Kazim-Richards were released and the Fenerbahçe board rescinded their earlier statement, claiming that Kazim-Richards had lied about his whereabouts which had triggered their denial of the report.[11]

In December 2009, Kazim-Richards was also alleged to be involved in a sex scandal also involving other Fenerbahçe players.[12]. A few days later while speeding to get to his team's training session, Kazim-Richards had a car crash during which he had not worn his seat belt and broke his right wrist.[13]

Following these events, the Fenerbahçe board and manager Christoph Daum sought to find an alternative club for Kazim-Richards to join.

talent/age wise he'd be a good shout though

    Skin tone appropriate also.

    :snod:

  6. Both Curtis Davis and Nedum Onouha are available for less than £6m apparently.

I say sell him and sign one of the above to replace him.

I completely agree with you. Taylor is clearly going to be a prat about this new contract, and it isn't worth the hassle. Besides I honestly rate Davies and Onuoha as at least being as good as Taylor (I actually think they are both better). Williamson is also just as good a player. Don't think we need to go all otu to re-sign Taylor at all. Expendable imo.

  7. I like the cleverley loan because ultimately I do think we will have a good chance of snapping him up permanently once Man U inevitably sign more expensive players, and Cleverley feels he doesn't have a chance there.

I reckon he can make it, serious.

He'll only wait for so long though. Look at how good a player Guiseppe Rossi turned out to be for example!

  8. I love the "blame the victim" mentality around this place.

Simpson's fault for wearing an expensive watch, FFS.

No, it's his fault for going to a barbers in a rough area thinking that because he's a footballer he's untouchable.

That £7 badman haircut from the local Caribbean barber must seem really worth it now

Oh, well since you put it like that... you'd still be wrong.

Sorry but I struggle to have any sympathy for someone who literally has shitloads more money than sense.

It's especially daft in this case since the reason he's gone to a barbers like that is to look "gangster". Instead, he's nearly in tears after a run in with the local mandem.

Hmmmm ... I wouldn't say he went there in order to look gangster. Trust me, as a black man looking to get a decent haircut you are likely going to have to go to those sorts of barbers. There aren't any really upscale places to cut your hair believe me. The mistake he made was wearing what he did, and even driving the car he did down there. Just be lowkey with it. Most people in those sorts of areas don't have anywhere near what you do. Why rub their faces in it? Just  be considerate!

  9. It certainly will be interesting to hear Hughton's plans for Perch i.e. what they envision his main position being. Would be good if we didn't move him around quite as much as Forest did, and instead gave him more of a chance to master one position and hopefully excel at it.

One would think his place in the team is useful bench player who can come in the team and fulfill several roles. I doubt he has been signed to start and I would be worried if that were the case.

Also, it is rather good to see I am not the only Aiyegbeni hater on the forum.

Yakubu is an absolute disgrace. Cannot stand the man and didn't even want him in the squad in the first place. What abuse have I not levelled on that dunce this summer? He'll certainly get what he deserves one way or the other.

    He is is cack.

    Oh yeah!

  10. That Sibierski signing was quite unbelievable ... turned out to be an absolutely top guy though, who did alright, but my God I was stunned by that move. Roeder's use of Rossi was diabolical. If he had played him more we probably could have convinced him to stay on permanently. Missed a great opportunity there.
