Yeah, have to be more direct and play with more urgency.

It's a fine balance though because give the ball away carelessly in those instances and you're toast on the counter.

They got Ragnick in to evaluate things and make recommendations for a revamp, and then ignored him at the end of the season and sent him on his way.

ten Hag has since come in and is just buying players he knows from the Dutch league, even if it means overpaying massively.

Switch Bissouma in for Casemiro and both Mount and Fernandes would be getting balls from him much higher up to do some damage.

I think if we don't sign Tonali either Maddison or Szoboszlai would have come in to play as the right sided number 8.

Tonali was by far the priority though as he has a level of toughness and workrate the other two don't, along with ability to have an impact in the final third.

Sarr has been really good. Surprised Skipp started ahead of him last week.

Yeah, to be honest they just need someone that dictates play somewhere in there.

Bissouma is doing a great job of it for Spurs, with support from Maddison who drops and takes some of the initiative too.
