Despite all the money they've thrown about this £30 million Nico Jackson is probably their most exciting looking signing.
-
Liverpool have no bite in midfield. If they don't get the last couple of weeks of the window right they are in trouble.
-
Gallagher been good defensively.
-
Surprised Poch is persisting with this two man midfield when Liverpool have so many in there. Playing with fire.

Thinking exactly the same... dodged a bullet there
Howe would have had the guy looking quality under us man. His type of profile of player.

Love how quiet Carragher was on that goal
-
That is a sensational ball from TAA ... my God!
-
Carragher as irritating and non neutral as ever.

This is like a pair of drunk uncles fighting at a wedding.

I would have slapped Jotas whole face off for taking that shot off me.

Random question but with the absolute lack of decent strikers on the market why is Jonathan David still at Lille? Is there a reason teams are staying away?
No idea why the guy gets no love. Pretty strange.

Udogie looks good. Bit wasted in this system though as he is electric overlapping in a more traditional sense.

I couldn’t think of any legendary old school central midfielders from Nigeria. And then as soon as I posted it I remember JayJay Okocha
Poor effort man. Very disappointing!
Okocha was a number 10 and all.
For central midfield always go Sunday Oliseh.

Aye.
I don’t like how wide Som and Kulu are.
I was going to say ‘allowing Royal to play more centrally has limited upside’ and he’s gone and slapped it in from 20 yards. 2-2.
Going to be tough if they're relying on that from Royal regularly for sure.
Son and Kulu really wide is to allow their 8s to have the freedom to push right up and support the striker, which is great for Maddison, but doesn't suit Skipp at all.
The system looks decent but the players he has are a terrible fit.

Hard to believe Bissouma was completely out of the picture under Conte. No idea what the heck that guy was doing.

These spurs fullbacks are wing backs. Don’t believe in either CB.
They bought wing backs for Conte's system and now the new fella has to use them as inverted full backs as that is the system he plays.
It's a mess for Spurs.

Davinson Sanchez cannot defend man.
Never knows when to drop off a player and when to get tighter.
Just so lost out there.

Don’t understand the Bruno criticism; watch the highlights back and you’ll see how involved he was
It was just responses to some moments of sloppiness really. And I think against more athletic aggressive midfields he could do with keeping it simpler at times.
In actual reality, he takes so much responsibility in initiating and orchestrating our play that despite those moments he is still so instrumental.
He never really has a bad game when you look at everything on the whole. He's just that good that his dodgy moments really stand out.

Yep, though I'm loathe to agree with Kaka (half joke) he nailed it suggesting comparisons with Ambrosini in addition to Gattuso/Pirlo, complete midfielder.
I loved that Milan midfield so much.
He has bits of all of their games, which is pretty crazy really.

Could see Spurs going all in for Ferguson from Brighton, hopefully Brighton string them along until deadline day and they end up with Ross Stewart.
They can't afford him.
That kids potential is so impossibly high and Brighton don't need the money.
They would have to pay £200 million as well as give Brighton their new stadium.

Love the delusion they're still living under. Eyes wide shut.
That is so embarrassing a comment, I don't even know how to respond. Cringeworthy stuff.
Let them continue talking nonsense.

Doubt he’ll see it that way. You can tell he’s desperate to be the main man.
To be fair, he’s good enough to be the main striker for the majority of the teams in the league.
Yeah, that was my opinion.
He certainly won't like it, but, we all know if he was the main man it would just be a matter of time before the long term injury came.
With the way things are currently, he gets to come in each game for around 30 mins and bag goals against tiring defences, and will also still get some starts.
Great situation if he really looks at things objectively.

Man, hate that this kid has these injury issues.
Looks a bit precautionary though, as he looked okay jogging off.
