S'funny isn't it... we'd say that Coloccini, Bassong, probably Taylor aswell - are all better than Andy O'Brien, Andy Griffin or Aaron Hughes. Smith and Geremi are a big part of the reason we have played better football tonight. Smith is clearly a better option than Butt despite how much the majority despise Smith. There is nothing bad Smith does that Butt doesn't do, and in my opinion Smith has more life in his legs and is a less ridiculous passer of the ball.

The decision to sell the club came on the back of those protests and during that period when the club was in limbo we threw away so many games and then JK was brought in to steady things and has now remained even though he isn't good enough. All this can be traced back to the turbulence that came about then. You really have to wonder how things would have gone if things didn't kick off and the club just went about finding another manager the normal way after Keegan left.
