Woodgate's experience will be great for Taylor in particular, even when he is injured (which hopefully won't be too often). Plus we have really decent backups now, especially when Faye returns.

The Defoe link absolutely baffles me. With Owen, Martins, Smith, Viduka and Shola all here what is Defoe really bringing to the team. I can understand the Woodgate and Bentley links though. Also would be surprised if Keegan isn't looking at Bridge or Riise (wether people think he's crap or not), as we only have one recognised left back and he's such a young fellow.
