  1. Unfortunately it seems pretty clear he's uncertain of how to integrate them into the team. Or for some reason is unwilling to stick with them until they settle into the first 11 and build chemistry with the other players around them. The indecision and confusion has been the worst thing for me.
  2. If he's the solution, might as well fold up the whole club.

  5. The one appointment that might actually make us worse and piss off a ton of players, depending on who he decides to scape goat when his awful football doesn't turn things around.
  6. The guy is struggling for form and yet it seems every match he is being moved from one position to the next during the game. The whole thing is a mess.
  7. The refusal to buy a right winger and a reliable backup striker has ended up leading to so much indecision and rotating in those positions it's unsettled a lot of players. No rhythm or consistency or a reliable first team at the moment. Add on top of that this Tonali confusion and not finding a way to get the best out of him in the team, despite him being involved and training with the squad the past year. The season is looking a disaster at this point. Failure to get into Europe with the fewer commitments we have this season, and a league that really is quite open bar the top 3, is just so terrible, and will mean we start losing key players.

  9. Just throwing points away man. This is disgraceful.
  10. Can't believe they didn't pull that back and send him off.
  11. I was watching a bit of the game earlier. They did not look convincing at all in that new system. Don't think the players are good enough for the roles some of them are playing.
  12. Things fell apart against West Ham with Willock having to go off injured. Do we perhaps need a more reliable upgrade for that role he plays, then he can just be a rotation option as he does pick up a fair amount of knocks? I'm actually dreading seeing the starting lineup for the Palace game. Can almost tell now from our lineup how the game is going to go. Not sure it will be one that works well, especially if Willock is out.
  13. So many more decent matches in the group stage
  14. Robertson has really fallen off. Always making rash mistakes now.
  15. Has huge potential to be a real laugh if he does well there and Man United struggle under Amorim.
  16. His miserable face and body language man Such a spoiled brat. Going to keep sulking until they put him on the left.

    Anthony Gordon

He's really off form. Needs to be left in one position to get back his form and rhythm. Moving him around while he's struggling is not helping. At this point might as well just leave him on the left where he did well last season, so he gets his confidence back. And just leave Joelinton on the right.
  18. When Shelvey was in the first team with Bruno he played at the base with Bruno higher up.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I thought the thread was for any interesting links to be posted in order to spark some discussion. You guys are no fun! But I did notice people wanted more concrete stuff, but that is so rare to know for certain, and those then tend to get their own threads for those players when it looks like they have substance. For those that don't mind more speculative links we have recently been linked with Bakayoko at PSV and Quenda at Sporting for the right wing position.
  20. Shelvey used to sit at the base of midfield when Bruno first came in. That only really changed after Shelvey left.
  21. Considering when Bruno joined he was played further forward, and was much more influential as far as scoring and assisting, I just don't understand why we don't do that more when the team is struggling to be more incisive. Very very disappointing.

    Joelinton

He's been a lot better in possession and as a part of stringing things together in the final third when he plays further up the pitch. He roams and interchanges with other players brilliantly and it just works really well. He had started getting into a habit of dwelling on the ball in central areas and getting dispossessed in dangerous areas. It was just more clunky.
