Just interested in what you folks think about Carsley looking back over his tenure? Thought it was some of the best stuff I've personally seen from England in ages and he got really good performances from a variety of players. Do you think there's any chance you regret not giving him more of a chance?

It's really quite unbelievable how badly this turned out for Palace and Parish, and immensely satisfying. We are being associated with a number of interesting names out there at CB. I really don't think we'll be back in for him and that would be great. With how badly Palace have performed, I'm not even sure who goes for him next summer. Might just end up there till 2026 and move on a free.

Long term thinking would be managing the money spent better and addressing gaps in the squad better also. There is certainly room for improvement in both areas if we are to compete. Especially with all the restrictions that have been put in place. If we don't do better in those areas we're pretty much screwed. And the likes of Isak and Bruno will be there for the picking, for others to take off us.

The problem is we spent more than we should have without addressing key areas in the team, and we are now right up against it PSR wise, and will likely need a big sale of one of our best players. Meanwhile we currently have just under £100 million of that transfer spend on two players, sitting on our bench.

If these two come to some sort of understanding there will be no stopping us.

The real story has been pushing Joelinton further up with Willock coming in. As soon as Tonali comes back into the team with that dynamic in place it will be very clear.

With the clubs I've seen him linked with I can't see it not being a major fee if he looks for a move next summer. It's all of the big spenders.

Apparently Napoli are looking for around £60 million as his fee has dropped due to how badly they managed his situation last summer. Interestingly, there were noises this past weekend that he is determined to play in the Premier League next and drew up a list of clubs he'd be open to joining, and Newcastle were on the list.

Yeah, one of my mates supports Arsenal and was talking about £80 million. And I had to remind him of when they were all scoffing at the fact we paid £60 million. And so now, with how well he's done, anyone interested has to give us a significant profit. We're not selling him for a £20 million profit. The delusion out here is something else.

Part of sport has always been knowing how to work the referees. Hardly a surprise that berating them constantly might end up costing you at some point, as they will remember it, and on decisions that can go either way you will get shafted. Got to be far smarter than that.

Next summer he'll have 3 years left on his contract. We are in great shape. Anything less than £120 million should be immediately rejected. Summer of 2026 if he hasn't re-signed by then, there'll be some pressure to sell. At that point would still be looking for around £100 million.

Yeah, I would say one of the main improvements has been in our build up play and possession. Joelinton can sometimes get caught on the ball in the centre and be a bit loose with his passing amidst the congestion in there. Willock is much tighter in those spaces having coming through at Arsenal and being used to that more intricate play. Roaming from out wide Joelinton ends up facing play more often, and can also afford more time on the ball as he has more space.

Now we've pushed Joelinton further forward and we are actually playing someone with more ability on the right the team just functions far better. I think once Tonali comes back into the team after these adjustments, he is going to look far more effective.

I genuinely don't see how we can move him back in there. He's so much more dangerous roaming from those wide positions. We're really going to have to figure this thing out, because it will have an effect on what we do in the market as a priority. Needs a run on that right side to see if it's a viable longer term role.

Unbelievable athlete. Now that right side is functioning well enough to allow him to overlap, I think the delivery will come. Had a couple of decent crosses today where no one was there to attack them. I'm sure we'll see further improvement.

It's a stinker for Spurs, especially at home, however anytime I watch Ipswich they look pretty decent. Wasn't completely shocked at the result.
