  1. We won the championship with one of those points totals? And SB finished 32 points behind us After spending nearly £14m more!
  2. Just saw their remaining fixtures - absolute MUST win for them tonight!
  3. Those Juve goals last night - wow!
  4. He’s right unfortunately. (Well nearer 43 but still shite). 49, 39, 37, 44, 45. It's the use of the phrase 'wonderful opportunity' that tickles me. He's just been on the local news; "We've worked so hard to get into this situation and we have to make sure we don't fall off the cliff and it's important that we finish the job off"!

Could probably get a million or two for Will Grigg from a championship team who need a catchy chant "Will Grigg's on furlough, HMRC are terrified"
  6. It’s only aimed at one of them like the wanker has done all season! Absolute bellend!
  7. From the Athletic - never knew that about Remy! https://theathletic.co.uk/1896993/2020/06/30/michael-edwards-liverpool-premier-league-jurgen-klopp-sporting-director/ Luis Suarez had been sold to Barcelona and, with a week to go before the new season, a training-ground match had made it painfully clear that Rickie Lambert was short of the level Liverpool wanted. Balotelli was available. Samuel Eto’o, too. Loic Remy had failed a medical and Rodgers cranked up the pressure internally.
  8. Viewing figures of 5.1m were treated to that majestic first half of front-foot attacking Bruceball!
  9. "Steve Bruce wants clarity over his position at Newcastle, so I will give it to him: if anyone with serious money gets a takeover across the line, you won't be staying on as gaffer" Get in Stan Collymore!

  11. Rafa would've been publically hung, drawn and quartered by the 'expert' ex-pro's in the media if he's served up that first half yesterday. Good Ole Stevie though cannot be expected to 'have a go' and he's done as well as can be expected with what he's got. Poor fella. Deserves his chance. Nice man. Yep! Fantastic job blah blah - Neil Custis said on the Sunday Supplement last weekend that it should be either him or Wilder for manager of the year
  12. Gayle's chance would have been over-ruled by VAR for a foul anyway! Still no stick for this numpty's tactics I see!

  14. Quality from Caulkin; https://theathletic.com/1898631/2020/06/29/newcastle-united-fa-cup-george-caulkin/?amp#click=https://t.co/DZpiDtefJV
  15. As much as a shocker of a miss it was by Gayle, it would have been ruled out by VAR if he'd scored as he fouled the defender just before hitting the back of the Gallowgate! I don't seen any condemning of Bruce for his first half tactics by his media mates!
  16. Hopefully our owner has done the same!
