The Skybet boost looks superb tomorrow but I always seek to jinx it when I post about it in here!

He was magnificent for us - tremendous player! Comfortably the best CF since Shearer for me!

Foley back to South Shields from Spenny - after a dodgy start they're surprisingly 2nd and have some of their better players back from injury and suspension!

Cracking! http://www.fourfourtwoarabia.com/premier-league-fans-middle-east-deserve-better-keys-gray/ Of course the real bete noir remains Rafa Benitez, a man whose every move seems to enrage these enemies of progress. Despite sticking with Newcastle after relegation, leading the club to promotion at the first attempt and securing a top-half finish last season, the man who won two LaLiga titles, a Champions League and two Europa Leagues can do no right in they eyes of Newcastle owner Mike Ashley’s cronies. “Rafa has done really well there, he’s won the fans over, they love him,” Gray said, “He’s very good at that.” “He did that at Liverpool. Rafa as a manager, he’s very single minded – he manages for himself. Never forget that.” The disrespect for Newcastle’s supporters is hardly disguised. One minute Keys and Gray are claiming the fans would rather lose 5-4 than win 1-0 with Benitez’s tactics, and the next, paradoxically, that those same supporters are delusional for demanding trophies at St James’ Park. These are the moral and linguistic gymnastics they are willing to perform for their pal Ashley to be right. If that means insulting a thoroughly decent man and his adoring fans at the expense of their own crumbling credibility, then that’s a price they seem more than happy to pay. So Guardiola, Klopp and Benitez are fair game; and you don’t have to look too hard to spot a pattern. Proper Football Men like Sam Allardyce, Alan Pardew and David Moyes – when in between jobs – are, on the other hand, given a welcoming platform to spout their bitter, stereotypical and borderline xenophobic drivel. It’s perfectly understandable that a show about the Premier League will be presented by pundits and guests with experience of English football. What’s not acceptable is that barely any thought is given to the needs of the audience. The millions of fans watching the Premier League across this part of the world do not care one bit about the good old days when football dinosaurs roamed across English football grounds. We deserve better, we really do.

Apparently Short sold up due to their campaign of not going last season   https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/newcastle-fc.1425889/page-447 TAFKARLC Midfield Here's a bit of "perspective" for you daft lad. Last season, Ellis Short made it clear that he wished to sell the club, not being a very attractive proposition (a bit like yourselves) most of us played the patience game, trusting that Short did, indeed, want to sell and, though it became pretty frustrating, we did one of two things. The fans who were so unhappy and disillusioned with everything that they just couldn't bear it anymore, stopped going. Those who didn't wish to do that, stayed and supported the overpaid wankers we put out on the pitch. Are you proposing that shouting at buildings or having a meeting in some shitty club to "discuss the ownership" would have made any fucking difference to how quick Short wanted rid of us? Maybe we should have took dirty bedsheets with some illegible prejudiced bullshit scrawled on it? You go on about what you are doing as if it's some kind of crusade whereas the rest of the country see you as a bunch of entitled fuckwits that are spitting their collective dummies out because Ashley won't plough even more money into a club that he has bankrolled for ten years. The best way you could possibly show the tyrant in charge that you mean business is by staying away, forget the fact that gate receipts mean nothing in relative terms, empty seats will make a difference. The fact is the thing that you lot find hilarious to poke fun at us about "empty pink seats lalas etc" is the one thing you cretins could do that would actually show you're serious, but no, you carry on "mobilising" your troops to go and shout at shop windows because hurting Mike Ashley's businesses will really make him want to give Rafa the millions you deluded tramps crave won't it?
