  2. Well done Hatem! Fuck Pardew and the Hatem-haters - people who don't like watching him are clueless about football!

    Andy Cole

Get well soon, Andy, Andy Cole! "In June of this year I suffered kidney failure, caused as a result of contracting an airborne virus and I have been under medical care ever since. I was admitted to hospital and diagnosed with a condition called Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis. I spent close to three weeks in hospital under expert medical care, undergoing a kidney biopsy, temporary haemodialysis (dialysis) as well as plasmapheresis treatment. "During this time I have been unable to work or to carry out my normal day to day activities and I am under close supervision from the renal team at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. I am on a course of medication including some very strong steroids which has led to the change in my appearance. "I would like to thank Dr Mike Picton and his team at Manchester Royal Infirmary who have done a brilliant job in caring for me and who continue to aid my recovery.... the good news is that I am feeling better as each day passes and the consultant is hopeful that I will make a full recovery by next spring."
  4. Anyone put the PP specials on the last few nights? £30 staked - £145 back! Manchester double 6/1 £10 max Bayern and Chelsea 7/2 £10 max Lewandowski 2/1 anytime £10 max
  5. Was in two mind to go for Lewandowski or Muller.......yes, I went for the latter to carry on a good week!
  6. Sons of Struth 23 hrs · WHY MIKE WANTS TO GAG OUR DIRECTORS. Sports Direct own the rights to our shirt sponsorship when the 32red deal expires and they paid nothing for it. If you care to look back on our timeline I have been talking about this since before the EGM in March. Dastardly Mike done a deal our club when he had his two place men on our board Remember Somers statement about "normalising" the marketing deal when he returned the £1 for the stadium naming rights deal? Mr Somers forgot to tell us the normalisation really meant giving Ashley the rights to our shirts sponsor. Magic Mike now has a decision to make. He can emblazon our shirt with Sports Direct or any other of his firms name or he could sell to the highest bidder and we would receive no money from our shirt sponsorship deal from next season I have tried unsuccessfully to uncover the length of the deal but I would imagine it would have been similar to the stadium naming rights deal which from memory would have three years to go. Our club now receives no money from shirt sponsorship, a pittance from merchandise and our board are gagged from explaining the full extent of his dastardly deals from fans and shareholders. This wretched excuse of a man even attempted to curtail our own fund raising efforts while we raised a four figure sum for the Former Rangers Players Benevolent Fund. I am confident to predict our soon to be released accounts will show very little difference from the 75p from each £10 spent on club merchandise that was revealed in last years accounts. Remember at the time the Ashley controlled board attempted to claim we were due a massive dividend and we would be better this season? I said it yesterday and I will say it again, the borderline legal acts of Llambias, Leach and Ashley are strangling our club. If anyone wants to google "companies act section 41" they will see why I'm happy to use such terminology. Our club has been used as a personal piggy bank for Whyte and Green in the past and is now being used as a corporate piggy bank by Sports Direct. Our fan base gave too much to the previous two before we woke up, let's not make the same mistake again. Are we incapable of going a year or two without a replica shirt? Does it make you less of a fan spending your blue pounds on something else that gets more money in to our club? Buy a brick it lasts longer. Buy a few programmes. Buy someone less fortunate a ticket for a game. It took us two years to get some fans round to accepting the last board were bad for our club, please let's not take the same length to get through to you on this one. I fully expect a legal and PR vendetta against me, I've got news for you Mike, I'm well used to it and it won't deter me in bringing the fans together against you. Ashley may have big pockets and thick skin but I will happily stand up against him because this is our club not a line on the accounts of Sports Direct. I really wish we didn't need to start another campaign, I really wish we could just switch off and enjoy the football. The reality is we need to and we have learned so much from previous years and campaigns that we are even better prepared than before. We the fans have the only thing he wants and it's in our pockets, give him it and nothing will change. Keep it from him and we have a chance. Every bear needs to see this, share it on social media, show your friends and family that aren't online, discuss it on the busses on the way to games and don't just leave it to others. Together we will make a difference but it will take everyone doing something and not leaving it to a few. Of course SOS will organise events and come up with ideas but it's not only us that need to do something. Join us, help spread the word and support us as we start this next chapter. Gone are the times of petty squabbles between fans, we are far better than that this time. Let's just do what needs done together. Remember we have beaten bullies before and we will again. How can I say this with confidence? It's simple we are Rangers fans. Here before them, here after them. Here forever.

  12. The tosser has just said that he has improved Bamford as a player - the Bamford who he hasn't yet started!
  13. Good luck to the bloke! He was never good enough for the top flight but it's not his fault that the previous imbecile continuously picked him!
  14. Columnist Olivier Bernard was left furious with referee Bobby Madley's decision to award Sunderland a spot kick The pain has still not subsided from Newcastle United’s 3-0 Wear-Tyne derby loss at Sunderland - I still can’t believe they lost that game. And what makes it feel worse is that referee Bobby Madley cost them, they didn’t cost themselves. Not only was it not a red card for Fabricio Coloccini - that is a guarantee, I still can’t believe he sent the Argentine off - but in my opinion it was never a penalty. It really wasn’t. As a defender, I would be absolutely furious if a penalty was given against me for that. It just isn’t a spot-kick. Coloccini was coming from the inside and Steven Fletcher the outside, while the goalkeeper was always getting the ball - so that is not a penalty. The Football Association have rightly overturned the decision because it was, quite frankly, the wrong one. If Coloccini had been on Fletcher’s outside and coming across him and then dragging him to the ground, then that’s a different matter, but he wasn’t. In the situation both he and Fletcher were in, there’s always going to be a 50-50 for the ball and a coming together - but that’s not a foul either way. Fletcher goes down theatrically and the referee points to the spot and ultimately costs Newcastle the game. It’s so frustrating and Madley has to take the blame because it was his poor call in a hugely important match that cost Newcastle. I cannot tell you how difficult it is as a player to continue to focus in a game of that magnitude when you have had an incorrect decision cost you a man and seen you fall a goal behind. Credit to Newcastle, because I thought they kept playing with togetherness and showed spirit right through until the end, but understandably they tired as the game went on and they were caught on the break by a Sunderland side who were clinical in the second-half. Before the red card, I personally thought the Magpies were in cruise control. I simply could not see any way that Sunderland were going to score - and the referee has then handed them a gift of a penalty right on a plate. It wasn’t just a small mistake by the referee, it was a huge one when you put it in the context of the match. Newcastle had enjoyed more than 60 per cent possession during the first-half and were causing Sunderland all sorts of problems. I also thought it was laughable that Lee Cattermole was not booked by Madley. Not only did he make a couple of challenges which, in themselves, I thought were yellow cards anyway, the referee then called the Sunderland midfielder across to point out three or four fouls he had already made and yet only gave him a warning. If a player has committed that many fouls then he should 100 per cent be in the referee’s notebook, there’s no question in my mind about that. Unfortunately we cannot rewind the clock and thankfully Coloccini has seen his red card rescinded but that is little consolation to Newcastle. They have lost a sixth-straight Wear-Tyne derby and it is still as painful now as it was at the final whistle on Sunday. That pain is not going to go away any time soon, either.
  15. That's the interview! Squirm you cunt!
  16. The fat wanker's eyes are once again spinning like pound signs! We could easily sell him for £30 million plus in the summer!
  17. Just been on SSN bemoaning referees lately! Ha ha ha!
  18. He is right though, despite the jips How on earth this knacker is captain of a premier league football team in this day and age is beyond me . There's no evidence of any leadership qualities on or off the pitch - coming in early for training or being a seemingly nice guy aside - his physicality is abysmal, and he's been the gutless, cowardly guy leading this team out to a number of consecutive derby defeats. The less said about him wanting out, the dodgy s*** with his dad and San Lorenzo and the s*** with his wife, the better. Where was he when Gutierrez had beef with the club? Where has his voice ever been? Oh, right, wanting HBA out. He's played 135 minutes of the 540 minutes of consecutive Derby defeats

Most of the threads on that board are hilarious! Full of made-up bull-shit about our fans! Some pearlers on here! We think he's a world beater and world class midfielder apparently! http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/jack-colback-on-sunday.1153133/

  21. Where did I state that I thought he was strong? If he'd gone in half-arsed and been sent tumbling and they'd scored then I'd love to have seen your reaction. Was he playing well until the incident?
  22. He was playing well until he was sent off. Not allowed to say that here. Agree with both - Ronaldo hasn't replied to my earlier comment I notice too! It'd be interesting to see the reaction if it was Mbemba involved....................... Ronaldo loves to mock Colo and always labels him as weak so I’d love to have seen his reaction if Colo had hardly went in on Fletcher and been knocked over and Fletcher had went on to score! Elliot’s hesitation also was a big part of it too. It was never a foul in the first place anyway! The way that bearded, porridge-gobbling tramp goes down is embarrassing!
  23. Ha ha! Well this bet is going well!
