Probably an oversimplification but Howe likes to have these young lads in and around the first team for a season before they are put in situations where there are tangible things at risk. Club is very tight lipped when it comes to transfers and doesn’t tend to leak much (from the club side anyway). Combined with Man U and a few others being the leakiest clubs going it’s basically leading to many of our fans just filling in the blanks themselves and/or giving the impression of inaction. Basically every player and manager is on holiday at the moment. Folk just need to chill out.
