for thousandth time, they are pretty much the only one of the big 6 who consistently sell players for good money, 400m or so in the 5 years prior to the takeover, that plus the allowable losses mean they are fine with FFP. They’re gonna make 200m+ this window from sales so again will be fine. As raised earlier Arsenals ability to spend 200m odd every window with precious little from sales is more interesting.

Hasn't he been linked to City? I trust the club to have done their due diligence on any signing they make. I haven’t seen anywhere near enough to comment either way on him.

yeah that’s interesting actually their biggest fees in the past five years have been from Everton £30m for Iwobi and £29m for Willock most other transfers for relative pittance. They made bank in the 17/18 window with Sanchez, Giroud and AOC amongst others but they spent a similar amount in the same window.

yeah I think it’s being positioned as 70m being some bargain price, which I’m not sure it is. although our ability to force a deal decreases once it expires.
