What a great win that was. Super controversial goal after a crazy bad ref performance, a mental breakdown from our main man (again). But it’s against the cunts that are Arteta and Havertz so everything goes as far as I’m concerned.

Fucks sake. This feels a lot like last season’s home game against this lot. We need to get a hold of this - and keep the ball in play for fucks sake. So many unforced errors.

An OK point at a tough place to visit. We’ve not set the world alight at Molineux too many times to say the least. Disappointing to drop the lead twice - poor keeping and defending for their second (as was theirs for our first). The players look really tired and we’re honestly struggling for quality and seeing games out (Liverpool, West Ham and today). Can sort of understand some criticism about not changing things up a bit more. But we do have LOADS of injuries which is a result of a congested schedule along with staff and players that are not used to it. Last season we could train all week for a game most of the time - it’s a whole different ball game this season. Couple that with being a bit hamstrung by FFP as well as a colossal fuck up from Tonali in regards to his betting ban and straight up bad luck with Barnes and I’d say we are doing OK under the circumstances, not super or even very well, but OK. The thing is though, staff and players are learning and if there’s one thing we know about Howe it is that he’ll turn over every single stone to make things better and most likely succeed. We’re in this for the long haul and this season was always going to be tough. Wouldn’t be surprised to see us be in the race come March/April still. Onwards and upwards!

It was definitely an error - no doubts about it. He’s a really good shot stopper with poor feet, so and so decision making and a faltering aerial presence (which used to be a strong point). Wouldn’t be surprised to see him replaced/upgraded within the next three windows. Where we’re going his weaknesses will cost us more points than his shot stopping will give us unfortunately.

To me Anderson feels best suited to the left sided 8 position for now. He’s got good feet and passing but lack the explosivity to play LW/LF in this system. Tonali is more of a worry to me so far - he doesn’t really seem to know where he’s supposed to be either in build-up or defensively. I’d probably take Sandro off - move Anderson to LCM and bring on Wilson with Isak going out wide.

Well, we look a bit like PSG did against us. Possession for possession’s sake - static, low tempo and pretty poor concentration. Nothing that can’t be fixed during HT though.

If we can keep it tight until HT we’ll regroup and do them in the 2nd half. Anderson would be better in CM today - get radge Bruno or Sandro off and Wilson on.

Burnley are absolute shit though.

Can’t think of a single keeper in the PL that is even half as shit with the ball at their feet as Pope. It’s embarrassing. It’s like he’s got wooden legs. Like a particularly unlucky pirate.

He was actually pretty good going forward today and I can’t help but love the man. As I said in the Longstaff thread - he’s all of us if we got the chance to play in the black and white. Sometimes that love for the club and that pure passion can get the better of him but who can fucking blame him? He’s so important and a man mountain.

Fucking love Longstaff. Him and BDB are all of us. He’s got so many excellent attributes and is vital for our ballers to express themselves.

Brilliant performance from Anderson today. Always looking for the ball and always on the front foot. He’s earned his place in this team.
