A 1 in 2 goalscoring record? Really? Doesn't like a 1 in 2 goalscoring record. Looks like 1 in 3 for club and 1 in 10 for country. Either way, how does that compare with what we've currently got at the club? Better or worse? That's surely the marker of whether he'd be a good signing? If there's £8-10m to spend on a striker, i'd rather it be spent wisely, to be honest. Depends what he offers; Bellamy was hardly prolific but his all-round game transformed us dramatically... Stats don't always do forwards justice. Which is why I acknowledged that i've never seen him play - as far as I know. We need a replacement for Carroll, who gave us goals.

Don't know anything about him, but his record is nothing to shout about.

Berba would surely cost more than that. That said, last summer I said we could only get Cabaye for £10m+.

Ancelotti to Alex McLeish.

Says Cronky, who said on multiple occasions that it didn't matter than Mike Williamson couldn't pass a football.

I'm still flabbergasted by the fact we have a striker who is even worse at playing the offside trap than Shola. Best plays off the shoulder, Shola wanders around. Pretty much, Best's offsides are usually from trying to get into a goal scoring position. With Shola its random It's not random. It's a lack of intelligence. The amount of times he caught offside and he just grins like a gormless idiot as if it's some kind of novelty really annoys me. Does then when he gives away free-kicks too. The complete tosspiece.

I genuinely think Leon can be moulded into a really good striker. The raw materials are all there, it's just about adding the judgement - and we saw plenty of evidence he has some - namely the Arsenal, Bolton and Everton games at home.

No. You're lying. Best started that night, ahead of Lovenkrands and Ranger. Something you should have remembered by conjuring up that complete rubbish. Pardew started him virtually every time he was fit after his first appearance back from injury, and even made noises about giving him the no.9 shirt in March.

Guthrie is really good or really bad. Maybe with a little more time he can become consistant. Guthrie hasn't been 'really good' in about 15 months. NRC is twice the player.

I like Liverpool's chances of 4th better than Arsenal's as things stand.

I see Jonas playing away from home because of his defensive contribution. At home he should be nowhere near if we bring an N'Zogbia in.

We got to be aiming to take Spurs.

Aye, because there's no middle ground between a £25m+ valued striker and Championship standard players. Clueless. Gameiro is exactly the type we should be targeting in terms of ability and valuation. Shame he doesn't want to be here.

If memory serves, Boum was wearing a lovely pair of grey slacks and a white dress shirt.

I don't want us putting all our eggs into one basket. We've tried that before.

He'd cost mega money, surely?

Pardew paid for for me and the lass to have an extra couple of weeks in Florida, bless him.

Bouhlarouz was Holland's 'player to watch' at World Cup 2006 according to one of those supplements you fill-in and hang up that I had until recently. England's was Lampard.

That's ridiculous, like. Makes me feel wonderful about taking so much money off the stupid pricks at Skybet.

Maxiumum stakes for a certain market per account perhaps?

Permanent IP ban seems a tad harsh, like. A month would've sufficed.
