I know of a handful of Celtic fans who think Forster should be in the England squad. Was the same during his time at Norwich. That was in the Championship though. Forster should be sent out on loan to a Premiership club, so we can assess if he would be good enough. Blackpool would be perfect. It was League One. Completely different players IMO but I do agree. His performance against us in the 2-6 is possibly the best individual performance I've ever seen. Scholes is up there with Zidane and Xavi. Lampard is atleast 2 echelons below that. Scholes at his peak is the best midfielder i've ever seen in the PL. Olivier Bernard couldn't have been more right when right before the 6-2 game he said that Scholes was the man we needed to nullify, not Beckham. That's incredibly harsh on Lampard, though. He's consistently got a mountain of goals and assists during the last 7 or 8 seasons. At some point you have to acknowledge the stats, and Lampard's are better than Scholes' for whatever reason.
