Hope it's the last we see of him.

That would explain why he's still here. I hope that shut's Ronaldo up who always say he wasn't on anything near that That you know a bloke who knows a bloke who likes to make things up? Yeah, well impressed and completely surprised by this news.

Ethi's spent the last year denying the existence of his own father in order to give Hughton the 'credit.'
-
You credit Chris for Sol being good enough now?
-
If the wages were going to deprive us of a new striker then I doubt we would even consider Sol tbh. Edit - For the record I think Campbell is also still a better CB than Taylor at this moment in time. Probably, but it's not saying much.
-
In the short term he's a better option than Williamson. So in light of Taylor's injury it's not a bad signing, providing the wages aren't going to deprive us of a new striker.

Lovenkrands is a good fella and deserves a lot of praise for his professionalism last season. But it's certainly clouding a few judgements. Next season we won't be playing the cavalier, attacking football that we employed in February - April. Which is really the only circumstance under which he can get goals. We'll also be up against much better defenders, and the need for that extra physicality and ability to drop deep will increase tenfold.
-
"No longer prepared to do that" I read somewhere, I think. I thought it was said in his September/October 2008 statement .
-
Fabricated nonsense, I never said that. Playing with Peter Lovenkrands regularly next season will see us relegated.

It was at St James'.

13 league goals in how many minutes upfront. I dont put much trust into your assessment of players ability, thats just normal 3 of those have nowt to do with his position on the pitch, given the fact that they were penalties. As for the other 10, 8 of them came at home when we were absolutely dominating teams with Routledge and Jonas taking the piss. Do you really think this sounds like a player who'll be successful in the Premier League? You have your head firmly in the sand. Of course, you were saying Lovenkrands was prem class back when Nile Ranger and Leon Best were getting a game ahead of him.
-
13 league goals makes him good enough for the prem? Wake the fuck up. Players like Peter Lovenkrands are the reason we'll struggle next season.
-
In fact, it's the only thing he's got going for him I'm assuming he means his attitude on the pitch. Ie half arsing his way around and grinning like a goon when we are losing. Yep.
-
Which is why nobody wanted him last summer. And why he managed 10 league goals for us minus penalties. He's an average championship player who's past his best.
-
Is the type of rubbish i'd expect from you.
-
This fucking ridiculous arguement again. What success has Peter Crouch had? Or Adebayor and Santa Cruz? People need to read posts before spouting their 'look at me' bullshit.
-
Same goes for Lovenkrands, who's as much a premiership player as Rob Earnshaw.
-
Didn't do us much good in 08-09. But I personally wouldn't drop either.
-
Routledge has been our best player since we signed him. He's twice as effective as Jonas in english football.
-
He has to be better than Jonas.
-
4 of those are coming off.

The only thing Best has over Xisco is the fact that your pal signed him. I was willing to give Best a chance and defended him several times when we signed him. But I saw him play several times with my own eyes, he's utter dogshite. Up against woeful Championship defenders like Anthony Gerrard and Jay DeMerit and the lad can't compete.
