From a goalscoring perspective Lovenkrands has had not one season in his entire career like Boyd's last 3 or 4. Lovenkrands managed 10 league goals last season from open play. I like the bloke a lot but if that's convinced any of you that he's fit to start in the PL i'd suggest you pull your head out of the sand.

Some of you must sniff glue, he isn't an excellent header of the ball at all and his finishing somewhat negates his excellent instinct in the box. His overall play doesn't warrant him a place in a team who'll be up against it. That leaves his goalscoring and as i've already mentioned, he struggled to score last season against the better Championship defences.
