Not really, saw them at Elland Road last season and at SJP while back and watched them on the telly 2 or 3 times. Mclean looks to have a lot of ability and his stats support this. He'll go to Preston this month and do well for them.

What the f*** are you on about now? Mclean has 25 starts this season, Carroll has 15, can you tell me the difference between those two numbers? Mclean has 23 starts in the championship and Carroll has 15. Honestly it's a daft comparison because we're at the top of the league and they're at the bottom. To say Carroll and Mclean are on the same level is very harsh though, Mclean looks twice the player.

He definetly wont struggle in the championship. But we've all seen the massive gap between it and the top league.

Beckford is neccessarily the cheaper option. We'll lose money on both. But as I said, more confident on Harewood getting us there.

I'm an awful lot more confident about Harewood getting those goals. I also think Beckford could have a negative effect on morale. EDIT: And age isn't a factor is the Harewood - Beckford debate as both will be obsolete when we get promoted.

Lets have a wager IF we do sign Beckford and if he scores more than 10 goals in the Championship this season you delete your N-O account for good, if he scores 10 or less I will delete mine. Why would I do that? I think Beckford is capable of 10 goals. Hardly beyond the realms of possibility that he'll get 11.
