  1. Not that I have a massive amount of faith in Hughton's judgement, but Lovenkrands must be shitting the bed big time in training to be behind Ranger in the pecking order. Given of course that Lovenkrands is experienced and a Hughton signing.
  2. So we'd be giving him games at the level we can do ourselves now (but benefitting someone other than us). Why would plenty be interested if he's not good enough to start games as you suggest? Doesn't make sense. Because if kept Harewood we'd have 4 of the best strikers in the league. Team's like Scunthorpe and Plymouth obviously don't have that luxury. Leeds would probably be interested btw, they're going up and beyond Beckford and Luciano they have nowt up front. We were on about Ranger, can you address the conflict in your post? Why would he interest other clubs if he's not good enough to start at this level? There are lower level championship clubs that's he'd be good enough to start for.

  4. I have to say, it's amusing how you excuse Coloccini's errors yet jump on Taylor's. I wouldn't say there was much between them, and as I said earlier I hope they can form a decent partnership should we keep both. Taylor had 5 years in the premiership man. Coloccini had 1 behind one of the worst midfields the division will ever see. He also had to partner Cacapa every now & again. Twice? Even the greats like Colo are going to get dragged down playing next to someone as s*** as Cacapa i.e the Fulham game. What was the other game? Sorry, thought you meant Taylor, who didn't start with Cacapa very often. Cacapa and Coloccini started twice or maybe 3 times together, including the Everton 2-2.
  5. Because he stayed loyal and he's been good in the championship.
  6. Unfortunately he's a decent impact sub but will only start at the club's detriment. When we get promoted i'd loan him out to a championship club, plenty should be interested.

Coloccini had 1 behind one of the worst midfields the division will ever see. Just proved my point, thanks. Hardly an excuse is it? It's a valid reason why one shouldn't be making the same mistakes. Well the other is supposedly a £10m-rated international, pretty much the finished article yet made plenty mistakes of his own. Yet you excuse one and not the other. As I said, I don't have a particular preference, it just makes me laugh the lengths you'll go to criticise Taylor whilst at the same time defending Coloccini - even if both were as good or bad as each other. I haven't criticsed Taylor for over 6 months.
  8. I wanted Pedro Mendes to sign a couple of years back, good player.

  11. There's a difference between mediocre and that shite last season.
  12. For £250K we should get him, who else are we going to get for the rest of the season?

  14. Most people wish he'd stay 23, that way they could excuse all of his errors.
  15. At 24 Terry captained Chelsea to the premiership title man.
  16. I am saying Rio is quick, thats the way it reads. Terry and Vidic do read the game extremely well, much better than Taylor, i agree, but my example was based on the premise that a quick centre half can help you if you are a bit short in that department Fair enough. But Terry and Vidic are masters of their craft. Taylor will never ever be anywhere near that level.
  17. Rio is/was very quick, what a daft example. Terry and Vidic read the game very well, again what a stupid example.
