  1. What did we manage under Keegan? No wins from his first 6 either. We were in very poor form as a team, but Allardyce didn't do that bad a job. Allardyce saved Blackburn and would have had us finishing mid-table. He certainly wouldn't have let our best fucking defender leave the club for peanuts and i'm confident he would have eventually got rid of the deadwood like Butt and Owen
  2. It would be if we were hunting for a new manager it's not just that. remember those times whebn we said emre, parker, duff etc wouldn't sign for spurs or everton as they couldn't afford the wages.............well neither could we. nobody is saying it's ideal. But his managerial fuckups (Allardyce isn't one imo) can't really be brought into the equation at this point in time. Aye, Allardyce had us flying up the league playing exciting free flowing football didn't he? Well except when we didn't put a shot on target against the worst team the Prem has seen. Get a f***ing grip man. nobody said he was Sir Alex. We were however, 9th at christmas 07 were we not? Have we got near that since? Clearly not a bad manager to be honest

  4. Go back in time 2 years and post that Shepherd's coming back and most of us are happy, incredible
  5. why didn't you say then ? Because it's a rumour, if I posted everything I heard down the (massively nufc orientated) pub i'd have more posts than Dave
  6. Ronaldo

    RIP sale thread.

I'm still really looking forward to the start of the season tbh i'm confident Ashley will be gone and Shearer will be in.
  7. rumour's being doing the rounds for the last 3 hours up here
  8. Ribery or Benezema doing the job Ronaldo did the year before last? Don't make me laugh mate Their back 5 is all about Rio Ferdinand for me, and injuries are starting to have their say
  9. I still get angry when I think about the Celtic pre-season game in which Luque scored twice. The fucking bastards on the radio spent all game having a go at him and not one other player despite the fact he'd scored twice.
  10. He's never felt like an nufc player. Even when a group of us professed our undying love for him during a drunken night in East London during December 2005
  11. He can't be replaced because he was their best player? Can't agree with that to be honest. I never said that. I said he couldn't be replaced The reason being, there is nobody in the world they could acquire with anywhere near Ronaldo's effectiveness There certainly is but that player is quite frankly unbuyable. you must have missed the part in bold
  12. Rooney will do well and so will Man U, I just cant see them winning the league The game against Villa in April is a case in point, they were absolutely shit that day and so was Ronaldo, yet two moments of magic from him allowed them to win 3-2. They wont be winning those games next season
  13. Never had such hatred for a football player. I don't care if he doesn't beat his wife in public and speaks nicely to reporters, he's the biggest twat i've ever had the misfortune to watch at SJP
  14. He can't be replaced because he was their best player? Can't agree with that to be honest. I never said that. I said he couldn't be replaced The reason being, there is nobody in the world they could acquire with anywhere near Ronaldo's effectiveness
  15. Selling Ronaldo changes everything, he was their best player and one that cant really be replaced
  16. I honestly believe both Chelsea and Liverpool (if Torres and Gerrard play 30 games together) will reach the 90 point mark next season. If Man U want to equal what they achieved last season they're going to have to find a player who score and create a combined 35 in the league, not mention a replacement for Tevez's industry. Tough, tough task, even for the best.
  17. Man U have got an awful lot of work to do in order to win the league again. They're going to need to bring in 3 players from outside england to fill the gap they now have in their squad. Will feguson get those signings right? Will those players immediately adapt to the premiership? Doubtful, for both. Chelsea or Liverpool's year for me
  18. Luis Fabiano, what a guy
