28 goals in three years is appalling, i honestly believe i could do better myself. 28 goals for Martins isn't bad going considering what a completely thick stupid c*** he actually is. He probably goes through life thinking every day is Saturday. How many times do you need to be told that 28 goals is a stat that Djmattis plucked from thin air?

i'd be saying 'right, he's done his duty, no more' Lovenkrands has been here 6 months, scored 3 goals in the time Owen scored 0, yet it's he who actually comes out and apologizes to the fans. Which one is the club captain here?

Nail on head. The same poster will most likely be eating words once more when Andy Murray wins a slam this summer or next

That is way, way over the top, verging on the absolute bollocks to be honest. Im not his biggest fan, and dont think he offers a lot to the team overall, but in terms of predatory instincts he is world class. There arent any better than him in the game at timing his runs, and he does finish a lot of his chances. You only have to look at the past few games where he's been incorrectly ruled offside against Arsenal and Man Utd. IMO he has been getting sharper with each game since his return, and will improve (as long as he stays fit). He's never going to be the type of player to take on men and run around all day, he's about waiting and timing, but that doesnt make him lazy. Wasn't though was it? There was only one was Owen was going to go. Didn't he go onto be the third most prolific striker in the PL under Keegan? Under Keegan he got 7 goals from open play in 17 games hardly earth-shattering tbh, but it's decent I guess Yeah cause he had a team of gifted giants behind him. Under Keegan we were actually creating quite a lot as I remember Do you disagree with what I said about 7 in 17 being decent? Or do you think that's something to be proud of from a player who distributes brochures calling himself a world class goalscorer?

Ah Mary, have you got me glasses?

completely agree He's slow, has a poor engine, creates bollocks all and his tackling is sketchy at best get f***ing rid I'd start Guthrie and Barton assuming we bring no one in. Guthrie and Barton would absolutely run the show in that league

And for once you're absolutely spot on, keep it up

At this point, I have to question the legitimacy of anyone claiming to be an nufc fan and defending the guy. He's taken the piss out of your club for years and continues to do it even after 'kicking' his last ball

Ribery, move Rooney up front. Still a hell of a team. True. But Chelsea were only 7 points off Man U last season, they'll improve next season. If Liverpool can keep Gerrard and Torres together all season plus bring in a couple of players they'll be the favourites for me tbh. Were only? 7 points is huge imo. If we had 7 more points we would of finished midtable. we would have finished 13th, and obviously 7 points means more at bottom end of the table than it does at the top. 7 points is 2 wins and a draw, which i'm confident Chelsea would have easily achieved had they had Drogba fit all season. Or if they'd had Hiddink all season for that matter.

Basically blaming his status as club captain for his lack of goals, honestly
-
I think Ferguson might just have won his last title as Man U boss

Are we absolutely sure this is for real? I've never read such incredible nonsense in my life

"mental strength and powerful physique" what a pathetic, delusional wanker

Nobody is saying Martins IS better than Adebayor, and truth be told I think even potentially better is stretching it. Not that I think Adebayor is a world class player, he clearly isn't

Well, that's one bonus of them going bust -

the quote is "Get real, Kinnear didn't even acknowledge Xisco was here" - nothing was said of team selection, the post was about not ACKNOWLEDGING him and you argued with it. Maybe you'd like to rethink your stance on Xisco now?
-
once again, ignoring your own posts. If you agreed with what Blefuscu said about Kinnear refusing to acknowledge him, why the fuck did you argue with her? Anyway, now that by some miracle, you've changed your attitude and disagree with Kinnear's treatment of him, you wont be so quick to call the lad a cunt.
-
what a f***ing stupid thing to say. Get real, Kinnear didn't even acknowledge Xisco was here. When he was talking in the press he would say "I have however many strikers" and name them and not even mention Xisco. He was treated appaulingly. why single out kinnear? shearer didn't play him either , you know. i suppose shearer wouldn't pick torres as well ? fact is, if he was good enough he would have played. the fact shola and carroll were picked ahead of him speaks volumes. this is the one I was talking about and you know it
