  1. if they sell RVN they deserve every bit of failure that comes their way
  2. Especially when partnered with Aguero. They are absolutely unstoppable by season 6
  3. They need to get their players fit and bonded as a team, they have some great individuals like VDV and Sneijder, but they don't play like a team. If they could get Drenthe to put his mental issues behind him and get him to step up they could build a good side. Something like; ---------------------San Iker Ramos-------Pepe------Garay------New LB ---------------------Lass---------------------- ----------------Gago----VDV----------------- Sneijder---------------------------------Robben ---------------------Higuain. Even still they could do with a new midfielder a right winger and a left back as I still don't trust Marcelo there and Heinze is done. surely you wouldn't leave Van Nistelrooj out?
  4. At the very least, he's a fan and has some understanding of football, which is an improvement

    RIP sale thread.

Ashley's running of the club makes Freddy Shepherd look as astute as Gordon Gekko

    RIP sale thread.

let's hope one of them suffers the same fate

    RIP sale thread.

aye, this is the only part of it that makes me worry slightly

    RIP sale thread.

I really wouldn't worry about this as much as some seem to be doing. £100M man, someone will go for that very, very quickly.
  9. Not that it's saying much but our defence was the stongest part of the team last season
  10. I though the game was pretty damn good tbh
  11. These days he would never try a volley as audacious as the one scored against us. based upon what? The Rooney we've all see for the last 3 years You havent really watched any of Man Utd for the past 3 years.. he has single handedly destroyed teams this year and as for 'will never try a volley like that again' one of the most ridiculous posts ever read, of course he would. he doesnt doubt his own ability, he is in a team that has 15+ chances a game on most matchdays and he has great technique. So if the ball is bouncing nicely in front of him he will obviously hit in. I have watched just about every minute of Man U's play this season and last (not that i'm proud of that) He has destroyed teams, you're right, but he doesn't have the same flair to his game he had when he first went to Man U. Like I said earlier, he seems very reluctant to put his foot though the ball and the speculative efforts are pretty few and far between. He's sacrificing himself for the team, playing almost like a wide midfielder at times, which is sad, for me, considering he's england's brightest attacking talent to emerge in the last 15 years.
  12. Bassong and Enrique need to stay more than Taylor imo. In an ideal world we'd keep all 3 to play alongside Beye

  14. Wasn't really £42m net though was it. how not?
  15. £42M+ spent on Michael Owen gave us 30 goals and 2 assists
  16. it never ends with you lot
  17. Ronaldo

    Jonas Gutierrez

the fact that Owen has 66 and Beye has 9 says all you need to know about that, tossers
  18. without selling Bassong i honestly think we could get past the £25m point It's a good time to be selling the likes of Colo back to spain because of the current pound-euro conversion. We could probably get £8m back
  19. Ronaldo

    I've had enough

Didn't Chelsea survive relegation by the skin of their bollocks in 93-94?
  20. hope we put at least £10m on the head of Martins
