You don't think he's got PL potential? Well, Jonas Gutierrez has been starting PL games for the best part of 5 years, so owt's possible. Don't see anything remotely exciting or impressive about him, though, other than looking somewhat like a Nigerian Peter Crouch.

Completely agree. You know the score though; 4-4-2 equals the anti-Barca/Spain/Swansea and thus, 'hoofball'. Our players don't have the quality off the ball to play such a fluid system anyway. At least to go 2 up front we just need a good striker and a good winger.

Neither had a bad first 6 months. Incorrect. Think what you like, man. Both looked good players to me and I said it at the time.
