Captain ffs. We're on the verge of going down and he's only interested in writing articles defending his abysmal goalscoring record.
-
His goalscoring record was never bad for us, but Keegan in-particular worked wonders with him. In a footballing sense, anyway. Giving him the captaincy was a bit of a brainfart and contributed to his increasing lack of interest. Somehow. Not whilst Keegan was here it wasn't. Was a bit of a masterstroke. It was a ridiculous thing to do which contributed heavily to us going down.

My lasting memory of Halsey is comforting Carver during the tribute to Speed. Always seemed like a decent guy to me, but far too often makes an absolute mess of games and Sunday was the ultimate. Time to call it quits.

it's youtubeable. agree about burridge mind. sat behind him on a train from edinburgh and hte entire carriage knew who he was, where he was going etc, loud, arrogant prick. Oh, my God. Seen that one a few times over the years but didn't realise how bad it was. Scum.

Pure conjecture. Of course. I stand by it, though. I genuinely think Krul would've been out getting both of them, as a keeper should.

i'd have no problem with our players getting sued if they done something like that (especially in guthries case as it wasn't even a tackle, that was ABH). however it's going to be difficuilt to get a court to decide on intent etc. It really isn't. You don't actually have to prove intent per se for any criminal offence/negligence action against the person. but if you couldn't prove intent then it opens up prosecutions for injuries where there was no intent, do we want to go down that route ? Yes. If serious injury can be reasonably foreseen by the offending player the tackle shouldn't be made.
-
That was disgraceful, but we were all feeling it that day.

De Jong's wasn't nearly as bad as this. I'm not sticking up for De Jong but a lot of the reation to that was down to who got injured and the extent of it.

It means we've been hurt in some way by recklessness, neligence or vindictive intent. Frankly there's not enough legal action brought by football clubs for this sort of thing. It implies very little as to Haidara's recovery.

The next Nile Ranger. In 6 months he'll be beating woman, tweeting about Nando's and running head first into solid glass.
-
Didn't see that but I hope it hurt. Met Burridge when I was a kid, utter cunt.
-
Think that's the worst I've seen apart from Keane's on AIH.
-
On the other hand that one is just too much of a coincidence.

He has a pretty generic shaped head, deep-set eyes and non-existant lips. Formula to look like others if ever I saw it, basically.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/wigan-athletic/9937733/Wigan-owner-Dave-Whelan-Callum-McManaman-won-the-ball-as-clean-a-whistle.html Why is Ryan Taylor in a picture showing David Whelan with a broken leg in 1960?
-
Shocking stat, that. Takes till March 17th for one of our regular backline to score a league goal.
-
The man's a useless Spanish cretin, dragging his team towards relegation. Thought Maloney's (think it was him) interview was spot on for the circumstances. Showed his manager how not to be an ignorant bastard. Yes.
-
He's certainly not Scott Parker, that's for sure. Parker's twice the player.
-
Ridiculous post. Basically.
-
Where does Cabaye fit into that?
-
Tiote couldn't even get that right.
-
Stormed straight down the tunnel at FT. Don't blame him too much.
-
Yep. He was obviously knackered, though.
