His expectations aren't that high, he wanted us to sign Harewood. Mick preferred Nile Ranger.
-
Aye, I should be supporting Brazil because I'm not happy paying to watch Jonas Gutierrez, Cheick Tiote and Shola Ameobi play like shit 9 times out of 10.
-
The vast majority of sides have someone to aim for. We don't. You're the only one bringing Pardew into it.

We looked just as s*** playing in on the deck today. If anything, the option to play effective long ball may have won us the game. Sadly we have no real outlet for it. And with Tiote as the deepest midfielder frankly I think hoofball would be less dangerous. Mainly because of how deep we were, in any case hoofball is out of the question when Cisse is your centre forward. I just wish you'd stop trying to imply we have this really talented, technical midfield. Our lot consistently struggle to keep the ball under and pressure and generally create not a bastarding thing. Indeed. We're never going to achieve the attractive padding game everyone desires with the current mob, over 50% of the starting XI just aren't up to it technically. Sissoko and Goufrann don't appear to be the most intricate types and we continue to rely on the likes of Tiote and Jonas. Yet the mackems managed it? You and Ronaldo are a hoot. Utterly obsessed with the manager and the wonderful job he's doing under difficult circumstances. Are you permanently p*ssed or what? I've said Pardew needs to go in the summer since January. I just happen to think that a great deal of our players are largely talentless, gutless crap. It needs to be said for the same reasons. Ronaldo a man of contradiction and bullshit, if a great deal of our players are talentless and gutless then why do pardew needs to go? Shouldnt you be applauding him for keeping us up from the bottom of the table? Perhaps because it's hardly an achievement given the strength of the spine which is reasonable at worst?

Why did you call the thread about who should replace him an embarrassment then? Because it's a pipe-dream. No decent manager will touch us and Ashley won't sack Pardew.

Mate you can get rid of this midfield and bring in a new one for £30m, with a manager that sets them up to play like wax dummies it won't make a jot of difference. I quite agree. Still think two many players get away with too much on here. You consistently question the technical ability of a midfield consisting of any 4 from Cabaye, Marveux, Tiote, Sissoko, Ben Arfa, Jonas and Anita and I'd like you to explain why? I'd argue that our best 4 midfielders are as good as most in the Premiership but you obviously don't. Please enlighten us. Take away the crap, unsuited and mostly injured and you're left with Cabaye, Marveaux and Sissoko. Hope that helps.

Crying out for him or a player like him in the first half especially. There's just no one to aim for who can make possession out of scrap using presence or force. I'd wager that we scored more headers from set pieces in his 5 months in the PL than we have in the 2 years and 3 months since.

Yet last season they were able to form some parts. Without ever truly controlling games or creating lots of chances.

4-4-2 or nothing with him.
-
More of a captain than the other two. Something up with him in the last few games, though. His stamina is fucking crap, that's for sure.
-
I don't know, exerting the strength of an adult male would be nice.
-
Worried now. Severe lack of goals in the squad and far too many gutless cowards.
-
How can he, though? He's sadly just not intelligent enough to get it right, tactically.
-
Out wide we are absolutely shite and have been for the best part if a decade.
-
Physically he doesn't quite look up to this, like. A work in progress.
-
What a useless cunt he is.
-
Think he'd do really well under Ferguson's coaching actually. Look at how good Carrick looks for them, Cabaye is easily as naturally talented imo. Carrick keeps the ball under pressure.
-
Sadly with Haidara not fit he's probably the best LB available. What a mess.
-
He's shambolic 8 or 9 times out of 10, though.
-
Been expecting that for ages - Cabaye is just the sort of player they need and who will do well there, regardless of what anyone thinks ; he's a class player and I reckon Fergie has wanted him since his goal and performance against them last season at SJP. 20m just the opening shot in this bid, methinks..... He's nowhere near that level, man.
