I'm still hoping Anita pushes him out of the side but apparently he's captain material. He was excellent in a three man midfield last year, and very useful whenever he dropped back to left back too. Didn't he play LB against Norwich? I remember him being awful that game. He gets too much credit for tenacity, doing the basics and basically being a very professional, likeable guy. There are players out there at far smaller clubs who have those same attributes with the creativity we badly need in games like yesterday.

We'd be best off just shooting from 50 yards. Ridiculous tactic at the best of times, let alone when it relies on such an inept player going forward.

About the best shout you'd have is dropping barfa behind the front two to link midfield. Putting your best 3 attacking players infront of Tiote, Bigi & Jonas today wouldnt have created wonderous football. Cabaye missing was a huge loss. The natural side line you're overplayng. I'm not overplaying it at all, it's a question of balance. 4-4-2 simply does not work with players on their wrong side. Or their right side, in all likelyhood. What, like Shane Ferguson? Ben Arfa is being severely limited on the wrong side, so is Santon. 4-4-2 doesn't work full stop with those players.
