We were s**** today in a preseason friendly and a lot of people used that as an amplifier to their worries about lack of transfer activity, though the two aren't really related. They kind of are when it's the last friendly before an opener against Spurs.

Is having 3 fit strikers enough to be panicking about though? That's an overstatement, tbh. Cisse's fine. Ba's fit enough to play 60 minutes and Shola perhaps 20.

Last year's was worse in terms of farcical mistakes. the Tiote thing was appalling, and cabaye not far off. This year has just been weird, hasn't felt like a pre-season for most of it. Have no idea how it's going to affect us until the first few weeks of the season though We got two players we badly needed in Cabaye and Ba.

The players loaned out will be academy players, players willing to prove themselves in a fully competitive league, someone who is years away from our first team but will slot right into Rangers teams. Skinny academy players based in a country full of drunks, playing alongside talentless rabble and against overweight thugs? Yeah, seems perfect. Plenty of English teams will have them.

Basically a carbon copy of every other goal we concede away from home.

That we've had a bad pre-season? We've signed none of the players we badly needed and our 3 forwards and only creative CM have barely been on the pitch, let alone together. It's just pre-season, like, but I doubt anyone will argue this has been effective preperation for the upcoming season.

Don't we all know what the issues are, though? Our squad players and Danny Simpson are absolutely shite.
