  1. That compounded with a shocking attitude.
  2. Ronaldo

    Danny Guthrie

Bit OTT, but he's certainly won me over as a squad player.
  3. Terry's always been better than Woodgate, mate. It's tempting to say otherwise but Terry's consistently been exceptional for Chelsea, up until the last couple of seasons at least. Woodgate's very overrated on here.
  4. I actually didn't like it the first time I saw it. Amazing film, like. A must watch before the tournaments.
  5. And add that Billy is biased in favour of players who didn't drive Astons and Maseratis.
  6. In what way? Campbell was stronger, quicker, better positionally and better in the air than him. Campbell wasn't quicker. Quick but not Ferdinand quick. Ferdinand carried the ball out of defence better and for me read the game better.
  7. Sol runs him pretty close but Ferdinand is the more complete defender.
  8. No he's not. Who do you think is? Please don't go for someone who peaked when you were about 5. Hate it when you do that.
  9. Ferdinand has rarely let England down. Still a great defender when he's fit, too.
  10. Such idiocy. It is not a maths equation. All four players are more effective and consistent in their position than Ferdinand is in his own. Rio's career at the top level is rapidly ending and he should plan accordingly. England's best centreback now and into the future is Cahill, imo. Gerrard is more effective and consistent than Ferdinand? Aye, right.
  11. Spain has a culture and a climate that generally promotes the cultivation of serious athletes more effectively than the UK. I'm past caring about it.
  12. Rather misleading, especially since Jeffers scored. England: James (Robinson 45), Neville (Mills 45), Ferdinand (Brown 45), Campbell (King 45), Ashley Cole (Konchesky 45), Beckham (Hargreaves 45), Lampard (Murphy 45), Scholes (Jenas 45), Dyer (Vassell 45), Beattie (Jeffers 45), Owen (Rooney 45). http://i.imgur.com/tCp90.gif Those half-time substitutions perfectly support Sewelly's point, to be honest. Well done. Not at all. 2-0 up at half time. Sven bottled it and wanted to make it look as if he didnt care too much about the result. To save his bacon. Aye, bringing Konchesky, Jeffers and Mills on saved his bacon.

  14. They need a Roy Keane type, not a Cheick Tiote.
  15. Drogba's scored a number of headers like that. One in particular sticks out at home in the PL from a Wayne Bridge cross. Oh, and a penalty that misses the target is excellent? I know that you love Drogba, I know that you could probably find another 5 'great Drogba headers' now and here. Yes, the penalty missed but it was almost the perfect penalty. I mean, look at Olic's penalty - it wasn't struck precisely enough, wasn't powerfull enough to beat Chech. Schweinsteiger's was really well placed. It really wasn't though, that's the point. So, no bad luck at all for Schweinsteiger in that situation? No good luck for Chelsea in that situation for you then? Plenty - in that a professional footballer of Bastian's quality should be hitting the target, which he didn't. It happens. Fair enough then.

  19. Like Tiote would fit in at Man U, man. He's the opposite to what they need in the centre of the park.
  20. Mark Ogden ‏@MOgdenTelegraph Micah Richards should've been in initial Euro squad, but had he accepted a stand-by role, he'd now be going. His 'no' opened door for Kelly. If I was Micah Richards and told to play second fiddle to Glen Johnson, I'd tell them to f*** off too tbh. s*** attitude if you ask me. Nah, if the authorities s*** on you then you have every right to be the same. The whole England setup stinks from top to bottom. settle down man Neesy's exactly right.
