So why go through the routine of playing devil's advocate for the millionth time? Do you really care that much about how outside opinions are structured? It's a ludicrous suggestion. It doesn't really warrant analysis, or a comparison with Steve Howey - who was clearly physically and mentally suited to CB.

La Liga? La Liga best league in the world? Absolutely no way. The football is often lovely to watch, but you're right. The EPL stands tallest and has for a while.
-
Beloved Manchester. I barely even like Manchester. As for the weather; from August to May it's actually not actually significantly warmer in Milan.
-
Indeed. Especially when you can't really find a positive out of the sale, even a year later.
-
If Howey had never shown anything to remotely suggested he could do a job as a defender, he wouldn't have been tried in defence. Plus, Howey was what, 20 when he was first played there? That's a valid excuse for his true position not being identified. Best has been a pro for almost 10 years.
-
Aye, it's only the busiest airport in the UK outside of London. Let's go.
-
I've seen nothing from Best that even remotely suggests he could fill in at centre half. I could also see him playing people onside all game too since he spends all game being offside in the other half. That isnt a good enough rebuttal. Steve Howey was the same whenever he got a game up front for the first team, which wasn't often! He never showed anything that remotely suggested he could do a job as a defender either. What in the fuck?

Give over. He's a decent striker, but nothing approaching a waste to European football should he leave.
-
I'm not saying leave Cabaye out, but you're right about that.
-
And Amdy Faye.
-
I suppose the women are far better too.
-
Didn't appear to be a fantastic place when I was there either. Greater Manchester and Cheshire have some very nice areas.

Not when you take into account the time it takes for Italian customs officals to search and hit each passenger with a baton.

"I don't care who he gets as long as I can have a go at the Greeks."

I'm actually amazed at how reasonable and level-headed my post about Colo was, btw. I was incredibly mad during those few days.
-
To be fair, the lad was getting a dog's abuse as far as 3-5 games into our Championship season. I remember when Zurab was signed someone wanted him in the team instead. And then Malcolm MacDrunkard 'wrote' an article during December '09 stating that we 'had' to sign Matthew f***ing Kilgallon to replace him in the upcoming window.
-
Well, maybe you've seen more of him than me.
-
Just because I love him and have for years doesn't mean I can't be objective or criticise. I love Newcastle United first and foremost. In his first season he was OK; great games, decent games and poor games.
-
It's never as simple as that. You wouldn't play Perch or Williamson if we could get Alex on loan.
-
If you have to live away from home Milan's a bit nicer than Manchester. Surely homesick is homesick, I doubt he will have had the least luxurious life in Manchester either He'll save about 3 or 4 hours on his flight home won't he? He's just finding his way home, lucrative contract after lucrative contract. A wealthy form of hitchhiking or some such. Eh? How?
-
In place of who? Perch in the Carling Cup games, certainly.
-
Vintage Drogba tonight, sadly.

Must say, I don't remember ever hearing such an audible collective groan when Colo's number was held up, like. Even the traditionalists who were sceptical about him at first know he's our most important player.
