  1. Wissa aside, the biggest fuck up we made was Elanga - had we bought in a left footed technical winger like we should have bloody done, I’m convinced Big Nick would have flourished and we could have adapted to his game
  2. The whole objective is to then translate that onto to the pitch then? Tells me the standard of coaching isn’t up to scratch then - surely with greater time to train you should be seeing at least 1 or 2 positives in our play? I’ve seen zero
  3. What was he pleased with? Attitude? Work rate? ability? defending? attacking? tactics? Just shut up Eddie - if you are pleased and your team performs like that then it looks bad on your ability to coach because we’ve looked shite in both matches
  4. He is and never will be a pressing CF - he’s very talented at what he does and is a totally different profile to Isak - the team adopts to him - not the other way because he isn’t that type of player Blows my fkn mind if they thought he could be anything else Honestly summer 2025 is unforgivable - a catastrophic failure and those who presided over it and are still here must go imo
  5. But that’s the whole thing with Big Nick - he’s not going to do what Isak did - he’s a different type of 9 meaning you have to adopt your philosophy accordingly - surely your scouting and analysis done before buying him told you this - I bet they didn’t do either That’s why we’ve struggled as an attacking unit because teams now know they just need to block the wide areas and we have nothing

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Add Willock and J Murphy - we are getting next to no performances from these two I am adding Joelinton if a good offer comes in Schar - Trippier - LB are positions we need to fill (Methalie, Coulibaly etc) Its a huge summer but one that is required due to inactivity in summer 2024 and the disaster that was summer 2025 - at least 5 transfer windows we’ve fallen short in due to there being next to no plan or any joined up thinking
  7. I don’t see how his position (being dropped) under Howe changes now , I really don’t - I don’t think the manager knows how to use him
  8. It’s a collective shit show from all involved The person who signed off Wissa deal - if still at the club should be sacked The person who signed off Woltermade deal - if still at the club should be sacked I am not bothered if time was running out in the market - how in gods name can you not work that you are paying way over the odds for these players - it’s damn right negligence
  9. The coaching changes I am on board with - there comes a point when you have to freshen it up For me, if Howe stays, then we need a total rebuild of epic proportions - there needs to be clever signings in there - not everyone has to cost £40m OUT - Ramsdale - Kraft - Trippier - Schar - A Murphy - Tino - Joelinton - Willock - J Murphy - Wissa - Gordon - keepers x3 Burn only just survives even though I want him gone too IN - GK - RBx2 - CB - young CB - LB - DM - AM - RW - LW - 9 That’s the scale of the job

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Well that’s all well and good but don’t then sign a player (Elanga) who is the polar opposite of your preferred option (Mbuemo) - the whole recruitment process needs revisiting
  11. So going into the summer - what do you think we need in terms of personnel to change things? Honest question … And who goes?
  12. He’s ran out of ideas - it’s as simple as that - none of this rubbish he needs a summer - he’s had his time here - leaves with his head held high - Thank you EH - bye He’s shown me nothing throughout the season thar he can change - we concede the same soft goals week in week out - have no idea how to play against a low block - doesn’t know who is best striker is - plays our most expensive signing as the 8 - poor subs - loyalty to his favourites - HIS recruitment has been diabolical - calamitous in fact - wants to play a certain ‘new’ way then buys players who are average
  13. I’m sure I read somewhere that the vibes were very similar at Bournemouth - in so much he wanted to call it quits the season before they got relegated but the board convinced him to stay on - he had reached a point where he felt that was it
  14. I mean we can but then I look at Howe from a tactical point of view - I don’t think he’s at the level we need - he doesn’t see things during a game and never makes the right decision

    Yoane Wissa

No one (well certainly not me is calling him or anyone a cunt) I am simply asking - in todays economic climate - were we in a position to pay above £30m for him? Could we afford to take a risk? No we couldn’t - it made no business sense Tell me where we go with Wissa now? A £55m player that can barely move
  16. Not really - I just think quite a few think it’s the end of the cycle for these players and manager and are grateful for what’s been given for the last 4.5 years We need to re-align our footballing structure whereby the DoF has greater influence on recruitment strategy The current manager has exhausted all his ability and will be looked on with incredible fondness and gratitude Nothing wrong with parting ways end of season - the cycle with EH is finished
  17. For the first 20 mins yesterday we were “ok” - we were getting joy in the middle when our centre backs were threading balls to our CMs - there was a break in play - Iraola plugged a man in to stop those passes - EH and the players had no answer - tells you everything you need to know

    Yoane Wissa

For someone who averaged 11 goals a season - is 29 years old - 1,year of his contract left (potentially) and with no resale value - £30m is my limit - with our finances limited - anything above makes no sense What would you have paid? Name me 2/3 strikers with the above characteristics that have gone for more than £30m - exclude “World Class” players like Kane and Lewa
  19. Cost about half the price
  20. Yeah I’ll just hit it top bins - even had time to hug his goalie before taking it - all in a days work
  21. Great goal Alvarez - 2-2 (84 mins) Copa Del Rey Final
  22. Yep he won’t want it but he has now a choice - accept it as the new reality or leave
  23. He should never have the influence he does - the DoF is a CEO/President appointment in any other league to oversee the footballing strategy - it’s most often a 4 year cycle (when the presidency is up for re-election) no way, unless you are Pep do you have this level of influence - you appoint a DoF to ensure some form of continuity regardless of who the manager is - that’s the clubs fault for not realising this
  24. We spent circa 52m which hurts our accounts - we are stuck because we can’t afford to count him as a loss - it’s a big problem in the next few years or maybe longer

    Yoane Wissa

And you think Wissa is worth what? He’s 29 - got 12 months of his contract to run (albeit with an option to extend for 1 year) You couldn’t have bought Kofane? Kroupi? Was Wissa the only striker out there?
