Yeah looked a good option today. He's done well most of the season coming off the bench, deserved the start
-
Thought he played well - not his best, but still absolutely class on the ball. I love him to bits, but I really really wish he'd stop grabbing the ball everytime he gets fouled he did it again today and it was a foul - but he picked up a needless booking a few games ago expecting to get the foul and ended up being a handball

I love him

I like Wilson but Isak has to start now. Different class

Great move and a lovely finish.

Fuck off man

If that was against us I'd be livid about that Pope decision. Don't think it's quite as stonewall as Redknapp is making out, but it probably should've been at least reviewed.

Murphy has played really well

Should be 2 up really. Hope that doesn't cost us. Overall really really happy with that. Isak and ASM are so in sync, playing brilliantly together. Whole team showing great intensity which has been lost recently. Isak absolutely making that starting spot his own. Tripps back on it with his set pieces. All good signs.

The little lad copying Bruno and Jo’s hair

Ugh, Gordon out for a few weeks. Shame that, needs a run in the team

How are people surprised Targett isn’t playing? He’s played about 10 minutes since he’s come back, he was never going to be match fit. Expect him to get some more minutes today mind Happy with that overall, let’s fucking go

Excited by the prospect of changes - desperate for a shake-up, time to be bold.

Win tomorrow, ideally by a couple or more goals, get a bit of belief back in the side and we've got a great chance of going on another decent run. We've been creating chances all along, just need to put some in the net. Hopefully Isak gets a start tomorrow and does enough to hold onto the position.

This is mostly where I fell on it. Back in Europe is real, tangible progress and portrays a club that's on the up to future signings and to those we've already sold on our project.

Had an interesting debate with a work colleague today regarding the pros and cons of Europa League football next season. He felt that it’d put pressure on our already weak squad and likely derail our league campaign next season, and would rather finish 8th this year than 6th, and then push for Champions League the following season. I felt that the benefits of the EL outweighed the risk in terms of showing progression to the likes of Bruno and expanding the squad from a better position being able to offer European football. Given we need to get more bodies in anyway I’d rather we attract a slightly higher calibre Curious what others think? I can see his point in that we don’t want to be another West Ham, but also don’t think there’s any guarantee that we’d nail top 4 next season without a European campaign as you can’t predict how good a season the other big teams will have. Shying away from European football now feels massively unambitious to me

What a guy. Feel like us getting this guy in is some sort of karmic justice for all the years of Ashley
-
Said it before but if he had the work ethic of a Messi or Ronaldo he’d have been right up there. Maybe not on their level, but the next level down for sure (Benzema, Iniesta, Salah etc.)
-
Unrealistic, but Gundogan, Tielemans and Zaha would massively upgrade us in some problem areas. On frees too so not too damaging in terms of FFP

Still love the magnificent bastard
