Not going to listen to the audio, don't have the stomach for it. Hope the girl is okay, or as okay as can be.

Very happy with that. Add another striker and it’s a dream window

This is class like. Love actually being in for good players

Have to wonder what effect the Leeds result as had here, must look a better prospect to join now compared to Friday

Know nothing about this guy but he’s automatically an improvement on what we’ve got, love it

100%, in terms of natural talent he's up there with Messi, held back by his mentality.

Fucking hell

Come with me on a little journey friends... It's the summer of 2022. Newcastle United have managed to stay up after some decent business in the January transfer window. Hatem Ben Arfa's 6 month contract with Lille has expired and he is once again a free agent after an impressive, but short spell in France. Newcastle are spending big in a bid to kick start their soon-to-be world domination. Amongst all the signings, there's still room for a shrewd acquisition or two, and Hatem comes home for one final season in front of the fans who loved him more than any others. Spurred on by the Frenchman rolling back the years, playing in the pocket behind Wilson, dovetailing beautifully with ASM on the left-wing, Newcastle achieve a top-four finish and a cup win, with Hatem scoring a suitably outrageous solo effort in the final. He's finally lived up to the "Hope" poster, and with a medal in his pocket and Newcastle looking forward to a season in the Champions League and well on the path to greatness, he hangs up his boots - fulfilled.

Everything he does just looks so effortless. What a player - love him.

Fraser was the other. Never heard that before either! Quite like it though
-
Agree we need WIlson back ASAP, but if he scores 3 or 4 goals between now and the end of the season that could well be enough to keep us up.
-
Thought he looked ok to be honest, held it up well. Will take a few games to get to know his new teammates and get on the same rhythm, but no issue with him as a backup striker for now. Definitely need to bring in an upgrade though given Wilson’s injury record. If he starts for us for the rest of the season he’ll score 3-5 imo

It's such a relief that the players still care like. After Cambridge it really felt like they'd given up, but what a bloody scrap that was. Great effort.
-
Same - was livid that it wasn't Trips taking it, right up until it crept in
-
My god we needed that, going into a long break, can have the rest of the transfer window with a bit of hope. THANK FUCK. We lack so much quality, but fucking hell they ran their selves ragged there, actually feel quite proud of the boys, what an effort.
-
Could go either way this - we look okay, which I guess is an improvement
-
Agreed. It’s an essential before the end of the window for me, if we could only have 1 more signing it has to be a CM
-
Getting more difficult by the day to differentiate between trolling and genuine derangement
-
We’ll see where we are at the end of the window. The new owners have and will continue to make mistakes, Man City wasn’t built in a day, but to claim they’re as bad as Ashley after 2/3rds of a single window (in which we’ve already signed an England international in a problem area and got some cover up front - and are clearly chasing more) is a bit much like Confident they’ll get it right in the long run, and if mistakes made this month mean we can’t save the season and go down that’s more on Ashley and his decade and a half of neglect than it is on the new owners who for me have been a breath of fresh air so far. If we go down we’ll clear the decks and come back stronger and smarter, I’ve no doubt.

Where from out of interest?

Big Al aside my favourite player of all time. LOVE that man, bring him home. Cheeky half season to right some of the wrongs caused by Pardew, see him off the way he should've been.
-
Not just the failure to win, but the manner of it. The team is already fucked for confidence, now losing that in the 88th minute. That'll be us done
-
We deserve to go down. The players ran their bollocks off but there's just no quality.

We are so bad
