You cant offer him a new contract and make him the highest paid player at the club after his behaviour. He would need to apologise to the fans and team mates and then prove on the pitch he is bought into the club and performing. Giving him more money now and rewarding his awful behaviour is going to kill the team morale. He either stay and play on the same contract or sell him.
