  1. Cisse can hold the ball up. But not as effective as Ba was at it before the African Nations. Primarily that what I see their roles being, but of course they will swap roles for periods during the game, so that Ba can have a rest. Ba's hold up play home against Man-U was absolutely fantastic. One of the best performances I've ever seen from an nufc-attacker. He just danced around so effortlessly: Kept the ball so we could move the team upwards, but was also inside the box when needed. Yeh it was incredible that performance. Looked a completely different player to the one that played against Everton and Wigan. In those last few games. Hope he hits that form again

  3. I'd take him if Ba leaves. Think Gameiro fits better with Cisse too. We've struggled at bit in the 4-4-2 formation and that's maybe because Cisse and Ba are too similar. . Both are classical center forwards who like to take part in the build up play. We could need an attacker who focuses mainly on the space behind the defense: Opposite movement in other words. We'd get that with Gameiro. I disagree .. I think Cisse's strength is his ability to play along the line of the defence and make runs in behind. However we never really got to see how the Cisse/Ba partnership was going to work. Due to Ba losing confidence and being incredibly tired in the legs department in the run in. I think theoretically Ba and Cisse is a better partnership, because Ba likes to drop in the hole and contribute to the build up play, like he did in the first half of the season. Then making a later run into the box. Whereas Cisse stays on the last defender and plays off his shoulder.
  4. Is that not a contradiction? It is my BAD!
  5. We've been scouting him for a while so i'd be shocked (and disappointed) if we didn't end up making contact. Dortmund don't need him, Bayern are meant to have signed Dante.....could only be Schalke, really. Really hope we make a move. Schalke already have strong young centre halfs in papadoupolous, matip and howedes
  6. Ahhh I remember me stating this in realistic transfer thread about a week ago. Cant see it happening though. Our board are stubborn bastards and once youve burned your bridges with them . you are f***ed
  7. I think its Cissokho .. time will tell.
  8. It easy .. "ROMAIN AMALFITANO" nice and quick .. followed by dancing
  9. Our squad for next year assuming we have two for each positions a couple of versatile players and 3 keepers... GK: Krul, Elliot, Forster RD: Simpson LD: Santon, Ferguson CD: Coloccini, S,Taylor, Williamson RW: Ben Arfa, Obertan CM: Cabaye, Tiote, Amalfitano, Gosling, Abeid, Vuckic LW: Jonas, Marveaux ST: Cisse, Ba, Ameobi, Best Versatile players: Perch, R. Taylor Looking at this we need to sign a quality fullback and a quality centre back. Then for whoever else is sold, they need replaced with a player of equal or better ability. Thats all I can see us signing with perhaps a young striker with alot of potential.
  10. This! yeh this sure !!! " ROMAIN AMALFITANO " DU DU DU DU-DU DU-DU-DU DU DU DU-DU
  11. Hope he ends up at Man Utd ... think itll make the title race alot more interesting .. and keep Chelsea on our level
  12. Unless Ba leaves, then I totally agree.
  13. FYP Agreed. Debuchy or Pieters would by my main targets after a CB. Vertonghen would be number one but unlikely, Douglas would a good signing on a free but M'Biwa offers cover for the whole back four and for that reason would be more valuable to us. A new young striker would be a massive bonus but i dont see it happening unless Ba leaves, should Demba go then i really hope we pull out all the stops for Luuk De Jong. Debuchy 6mil, M'Biwa 6mil, De Jong 12mil. 24mil is still a modest outlay. Especially when i expect us to bring in about 4mil from Simpson and Forster. Cant see a net spend of 20mil happening. Its not financially viable for the club. Maximum 10 to 12 mill in expenditure .. including the likely sale of simpson.
  14. Id let go Harper, Smith, Lovenkrands, Simpson, Ranger, Obertan ... Id try and keep Guthrie as I think hes the perfect backup to Cabaye .. but I can accept that he wants to find himself consistant first team football at this stage in his career.
  15. If we could sign Barnetta, Debuchy, Mbiwa/Douglas and a young striker .. this tranfer window would be one of the best in recent memory
  16. I think hed be more than a squad player..started out on the left for the swiss yesterday and was incredibly effective there.
  17. Mandanda Debuchy Rami Mexes Evra Cabaye Nasri Menez Gourcuff Ben Arfa Benzema not a bad side that .. add in m'villa and ribery and its pretty fuking good
  18. Just watched the match from last night, he played an incredible match! On a free, hes exactly what we need. The Craft and pace of him and Ben arfa on each wing is a scary proposition for the opposition
  19. It's been really s*** recently hasn't it? Not suprised tbh, a lot of players are away with their country's and the window isn't even open yet so business is probably more difficult to do. Still doesnt excuse the lack of rumors mind. Having said that how many did we have signed this time last year? pretty certain it will pick up between june and july. No problem from our side of the fence, it's those lazy f***ing journalists who aren't even bothering to make up rumours we can mull over thats annoying Wheres all the ITK cunts then?
  20. hes gunna rip up the premier league .. scary shit
  21. 1. Coloccini 2. Simpson 3. Ben Arfa 4. Ameobi 5. Raylor 6. Best 7. Tiote

    Alan Smith

I dont hate the guy ... it was idiotic of the club to give him such a long contract on such a high wage. Hes been a good leader and the time I met him he seemed a real top bloke. Best of luck in the future smudge.
  23. Really hope he comes .. our team will be so much better with a right back comfortable in posession of the football.. its going to add a whole new element to our game
