To be fair he won us the three points against Everton, which were must win points, and lost us the points against Man city which would have been only bonus points. He did well for us when it mattered most.

Interview with him on an Australian Football Show last night.. talking about how he has given up on ever playing for England, saying that he now understands his ego and as much as he would like to believe it, he is not the player to make a difference between England winning the tournamen and not winning. He also made strange comments regards to discussions between him and Viduka with regards to laws legalising recreational drugs.

On FM his best position is centreback, but also capable in both fullback positions.

I played against Herd as a junior, hes strong in the air, is a workhorse and is good in the tackle. But for a central midfielder he doesnt present for the ball enough.
-
I dont know about that. There were quotes from Colo about 6 weeks ago, where he was infering that it is not vital that Newcastle qualify for Europe this season. he would prefer a gradual climb into such poitions so that the club is in a strong enough position to remain there.

Fantastic PR for a company would be to agree a joint deal for the stadium naming rights and the main kit sponsor. The company agrees the deal and their logo appears on the kit, only for them to not rename the stadium after their company name, and rename it St. James Park. Would be an intelligent way to get the hundreds of thousand of geordies to wax lyrical about the company, causing for fantastic PR. Also making world wide news.

Krul Simpson Taylor Coloccini Santon Obertan Tiote Cabaye Jonas HBA Ba

Agree and if Best is still not ok.. HBA has to come in

Hopefully puts an end to the daft calls for us to sign him that pop up each transfer window. Damn! Would have loved Johnson in the black and white stripes, a local lad who supports the toon, that would lift people off their seats. He must also enjoy earning alot of money for bench warming.

Can anyone tell me how Brad Inman is progressing? Does he have a future in top flight football? His name is known in Australia, however he is constantly overlooked by national team coaches which is surprising.

hope the b****** doesnt injure rape any of our youngsters. Couldn't agree more

hope the bastard doesnt injure any of our youngsters again.

Ba Jonas Cabaye Guthrie Santon Tiote Raylor Coloccini Saylor Simpson Krul I would set up like this. Jonas and Santon providing the fitness and defensive qualities to support our two full backs. Tiote sitting deep to break up their attack (Silva or Nasri). Guthrie and Cabaye both very capable of retaining posession. With the all round attacking qualities of Ba up front.

A nice article from a sports journalist in Australia regarding Newcastle. http://www.foxsports.com.au/football/premier-league/newcastle-united-are-riding-a-wave-of-success-in-the-barclays-premier-league-but-is-trouble-looming/story-e6frf4a3-1226196800340

at least itll match his hair

Good news. Im expecting those players to start, however I doubt Pardew will shift from the current 4-4-2.
-
Thats very true. Completely dominated us. Really needed to finish those chances though. Australia are up and down like a yo-yo at the moment with regard to performances. Hopefully a fit Cahill and Kewell can provide us with a much needed boost for the next qualifying round. I would also add Oar, Leckie and Rukavystya to our team.

I think i read something about him being allowed to still play in reserves cup fixtures or something? I may be and probably am incorrect.
