  1. While I'm fully on board with the Pardew out line, I don't necessarily agree that it's desireable to anyone to give a lad that just turned 17 his home debut when you're 3 nil down in an abject performance, taking a pummeling and minutes from being booed off the park.

  4. Been saying since February that form/results have sunk to such a consistently low level that the concerns over Ashley's ability to replace with better no longer eclipse concerns over Pardew's performance.
  5. Thank fuck we didn't rest on our laurels. My letter's in the post. Those stats look mighty skewed. We need a Happy Face analytical breakdown with charts and graphs supplied to explain what a great deal we have been getting during those games. Only Palace have scored less in 3 months. Only Cardiff and Fulham have conceded more in 2 months. No European excuses. Clueless.
  6. It'll provide some excellent evidence for the efficacy of his half time team talks though.
  7. Has Mourinho taken more points off Pardew or vice versa?
  8. Aye someone on Twitter just came out with the global recession excuse, i had to break out this bad boy on him.... http://i41.tinypic.com/161l5ao.jpg Based upon this... Part 2... http://nufc-ashlies.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/the-myth-of-mike-ashleys-financial.html
  9. Can anyone fill in the blanks? Fulham Commercial 2007- £7.5 2008 - £8.5 2009 - £8.6 2010 - ? 2011 - ? 2012 - £11.9 Fulham Matchday 2007- £8.7 2008 - £9.6 2009 - £11.2 2010 - ? 2011 - ? 2012 - £14.7 WBA Commercial 2007- £6.4 2008 - £6.3 2009 - £6.5 2010 - £4.9 2011 - ? 2012 - £8.9 WBA Matchday 2007- £8 2008 - £6.3 2009 - £6.7 2010 - £6 2011 - ? 2012 - £7.9
  10. Article doesn't mention they spent £50m on players last year and only recouped £6m. They could cover that loss and turn it into a profit approaching as much simply by selling Suarez. Losses on player trading aren't necessarily bad. They were for us because we bought £16m crocks and let their contract wind down, spunked tens of millions on utter shit on ridiculous wages, long term....like Portsmouth and Leeds
  11. I know you've all been missing Pardew related graphs, so here you are... http://i57.tinypic.com/66l0gl.jpg The twat!
  12. Could have been Steve Bruce on one of our players though and i wouldn't be calling for him to be sacked or a half a season ban though. I think 8 games max would be fair. I think if the club sacked him, he couldn't camplain. He is menace to soccer, a danger to other managers and players. As is Bruce's face.
  13. Almost certainly time in prison, the prick who punched the horse did time and he didn't appear to do any damage. What happened to the fan that punched the Swindon Keeper?
  14. What steps would you take beyond sacking? Headbutt his kids?
  15. Mourinho's likable though. He could nut me any time.
  16. Been going round the world to see how it's being covered elsewhere. So while Jeff Stelling went completely apeshit on live TV, Japan Today reported more soberly that... "Pardew was sent to the stands after inclining his head towards Meyler during a second-half touchline confrontation" http://www.japantoday.com/category/sports/view/chelsea-pull-clear-pardew-sent-off-for-headbutt USA today says... "Alan Pardew was sent to the stands after he appeared to headbutt Hull City midfielder David Meyler" No hyperbole there. What it does call "amazing" is Stelling's reaction...which it links to as a video. http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/03/newcastle-pardew-headbutt-hull/ The headbutt was a disgrace. But it pales into insignificance compared to dozens of other on pitch assaults. As bad as Canona's Kung Fu kick (on a fan)? No. As bad a Suarez getting all bitey? Course not. Barton's elbowy, kicky, headbutt at Man City? Nowhere near. Di Canio taking down a referee, or Prutton...Ben Thatcher's elbow or Roy Keane's career ender. Pardew's a manager and will be held to higher standards. As he should. He deserves a lengthy ban. He's accepted that and apologised. But the desperation of our local media to sensationalise it has been pathetic. Fucking Hansen giving it "won't somebody think of the children?" after all those other examples. Sooner he's off the telly the better.
  17. Has anyone said what he did was right?
  18. Jesus fucking christ man. HE'S A MANAGER. That's fuck all to do with whether there was any provocation and whether the provocaton was more or less violent than on the linesman. Of course he's held to a higher standard, but you can't say one fella is blameless and another needs anger management off similar pushes, whoever has done them.
  19. The world cup studio could be tense
