Passing it around them up to the box and having a few long rangers is no good man when they have the worst defence in the league. They had the much better chances. Dummet standing off and allowing Altiadoredore to nip in between him and Krul.Borini's meg of Krul before he scored. Before the first goal Krul was at full stretch to make a save from someone too. EDIT: Our best chance was a near own goal minutes from the end. I didn't think neither team created anything, both teams were relatively restricted to long range efforts but we were far better at keeping the ball then them, just once we moved the ball into the final 3rd our movement was terrible and never stretched them enough. Thought it was an awful game but we didn't deserve to lose and a draw would have been fair. Some people may think Sunderland were good value for their 3 points, that's entirely their own judgement. I just didn't see it that way, once we scored i thought we would go on to win it but it wasn't to be. No good looking by now thinking what might have been or could have been, tough games coming up fast and best to concentrate on them now. I've given you examples of what the Mackems did create though so you can't say they didn't do that. All were better chances than ours, so if anyone deserved the points it was them. They were rank anaarl. I would hope we are looking back at performances to learn from them. Our mistake was not looking back at the 3 nowt enough to see what a derby is about and taking revenge.
  2. News is better reported by independent sources, not those in the pocket of the administration. If anything this only makes The Chronicle & co a better source for fans.

Keegan couldn't work with Llambias, don't let that get in the way of anything though. You think he'd have been happier under Kinnear? Don't let pedantry get in the way of the point. If Llambias wasn't doing what Ashley wanted in bringing in Wise & Vetererere, selling Milner, buying players the manager didn't want thenm Llambias would have gone, not Keegan.
  5. So the coverage was disproportionate cos only a few hundred turned out in the rain....but the coverage was geared towards selling papers? Is it just me that thinks there's a contradiction there?
  6. Did you read line 2 of the post? The one where I said he wouldn't be the defender Tiote would?

Nah, two of the best man managers, knowledgeable football men and respected individuals in the game would do just as s*** as Pardew is. Keep building those straw men marra You talk so much brown watery shite its untrue. Not really. I've said nowt particularly contentious there. Obviously the argument you've twisted it into is daft.

Nah, two of the best man managers, knowledgeable football men and respected individuals in the game would do just as s*** as Pardew is. Keegan actually did pretty damn well before the fall out. Bring Keegan in tomorrow and the upturn would be huge Proof that Keegan wouldn't and didn't work with Ashley can't be used as proof that you think Keegan would work under Ashley. i meant on the pitch really, as a comparison to Pardew Unfortunately the manager doesn't get to work in a vacuum like that.

In 25 year we'd probably agree that 2 managers have been "good". I don't think either of them would have succeeded under Ashley like.

TBH, I do enjoy the fact that we are no longer thought of as a club that is constantly sacking managers. I don't think this is really such a mental positive to take from the situation. It's a real positive that the club hangs onto staff that are demonstrably not good enough at their job? Not just a "positive" but something you "enjoy"? And some people claim you're not here on the wind up. Well that's not what I said, but don't let that stop you having a pop. In our recent history, we've been thought of as a club that sacks managers often, and prematurely. Yes, there are a lot of negative aspects to how we're run now. And whether or not you want Pardew sacked is a matter of personal preference. But one positive aspect is that we're now seen as trying to take a longer term view. Like I said somewhere else. Ashley has been more trigger happy than Shepherd ever was. Shepherd may have got rid sooner in a season, but the managers sent packing were always lower in the league than any of the managersd Ashley has sacked. If he's trying to change the perception of the club, then it's the perception he created.
  13. I think we need to play him or Tiote in the holding role with Anita and Cabaye ahead. Tiote can have the games where we need to shore it up and he's not allowed over the half way line, Sissoko, those where he'll be more free to make runs into the opposition half.
  14. I don't see it that way like. If he plays full strength and loses, badly, and picks up any more knocks/bans then he's in a far worse position. I reckon he'll go for the face-saving tactic of putting out the reserves to excuse the inevitable defeat.
  15. He was asked "were you robbed?" The person quoting him has focused on that. He also lamented the start we made. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24696089
  16. Fat Fred never ever sacked ANY manager sitting above 13th. Only Ashley has done that, ousting Allardyce, Keegan and Hughton while they were outperforming all the managers you mention.

I think people largely realise that Ashley is the problem. Demanding that he sack the manager would suggest a modicum of good faith, that I don't believe exists amongst the 50,000 that go. And rightly so.
  18. No he hasn't. In his last season at Marseille he was pretty much the reason they won the title. Never saw any of those games. I know you'll have watched loads so I'll bow to you on it. There was no interest from other clubs apart from us as i recall though. How much of that was down to temprament and the falling out with Deschamps, I couldn'tr say. But purely on goals and assists, he's far exceeded what he managed at previous clubs in two thirds as many games for us, under Pardew. He wasnt. Only started 17 games and didnt score til February 3 of his team-mates were in the ligue 1 team of the year that season, but he wasn't. So it doesn't sound like he was that instrumental like.
  19. I want the bell end to pass it more. Relevant. "Just take it easy man"

  22. Calm down dear. Nar, I'm f***ing sick of this utter f***ing bullshit from the same f***ing bullshitters. Presenting opinions and stats on their own and implying that they're as relevant as any other because they're all based in fact. What f***ing use is it to show a stat on Ben Arfa's touch/pass ration. f*** off man, you f***ing bouquet of cocks. Thought I contextualised the stat beforehand saying he had a load of Mackems all over him.
  23. This really. His inability to even look for a pass most the time really f***s me off. Prefers to run into trouble instead every time. His touch/pass ratio is the worst in the team, the only player to pass less than half the time he touched the ball yesterday. It didn't help that at times he had three men on him. Aye.... http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,91227.msg4699857.html#msg4699857
  24. Ben Arfa has produced more at Newcastle under Pardew than at any other club. The notion that Pardew ruins him is overplayed when the fact is he's always been consistently inconsistent.
