Please be an awful joke. -
I love Rafa to bits, and I know the board are the problem here, but I'm getting a bit fed up with the negativity in all honesty. The PL starts this weekend, we should be being optimistic and looking forward to it, but because of all these sound bites and leaks from Rafa's camp everything feels doom and gloom. The players must surely pick up on that too. Obviously there are problems, but I'm not a fan of this "airing your dirty washing in public" thing. If the problems are big enough, walk away. If the problems are frustrating but you have no intention of walking away, don't put all that doubt into the supporters' minds. I'm not really sure what talking about it in the press really achieves, apart from getting in excuses early and giving the press plenty of fuel for the fires they love to create. The article isn't even that bad He's basically saying the big boys can buy the title and you don't need good managers ro do that and that to compete you need the right tools. Yeah, maybe there's a message being sent but it's not an article.about him spitting his dummy out and presenting doom and gloom.

Ah, this conversation again

Not Gibbs too... Where's the Gibbs story? From their fans via their local press. If their local press is anything like our local press I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Thought exactly the same. Pathetic bloke.

Well, it's more than that to be fair.

Shelvey was running the show to be fair, played some unbelievable balls. -
After seeing him once I'd probably agree. Hopefully he kicks on, gains some confidence and shows what he can do.

Matt Ritchie (now Technical Director at Bournemouth)

Strange, thought the complete opposite. Thought he looked sharp, some very clever movement and passes. He'll do well for us next year, will be a big player. -
Tremendous ? How old is he by the way? I've been thinking of taking my 5year old tomorrow but not.sure if it's a year too soon for him. I took my two to Vitesse at home last season, they were 4 and 2 at the time and loved it. I think I'm going to take him. Assuming you can buy tickets online, prices double tomorrow

They will, people tend to overrate the impact of spending loads of money. I don't see how Lukaku takes Man Yoo from 6th to above Spurs for example. It's not like Ibrahimovic was struggling to score last year. Spurs and Chelsea were above everyone else last year because they were the most balanced, efficient and took their chances regularly. I really don't think enough teams will do that better for things to change drastically. They've signed more than just lakaku though and he will make a big difference I think. If they get ibra back signed up and fit for the last four or five months Of The season that's a lot of fire power

Me neither. I think it will be an even more extraordinary achievement than the last two finishes. I mean, it's not like the big sides hadn't spent s***-tons of money on wages and fees in the last couple of years, but they've had so much time and money to get things right by now, and I expect Liverpool to finish above us this year, finally. Yeah it's getting harder and harder. Arsenal will miss out again too I think. I'm going for Chelsea, man United, man city and Liverpool

I don't think Spurs will make top 4 this year.
-
He needed to raise money so had to sell Alonso.
-
Does anyone actually care? Player moves to new club for lots of.money. meh.
-
I realised last season that he's just not a natural goal scorer. I like the lads, and on his day he can be a handful but the amount of games last year, especially at home where great balls were delivered and he was nowhere to be seen drove me crazy.

Looks very close to what will be the team minus Gayle?
