yep.... as if the players aren't also supposed to motivate themselves. it's 50/50, imo. Eh?

Jesus, it was Joey Barton playing on the left not some young reserve ffs. It doesnt matter what foot he is, at the end of the day, that starting 11 were more than capable of beating fucking stevenage. They didnt. It was the players fault.

I prefer to blame the players and Pardew too. Both are at fault. Disagree, I could have been standing on the touchline and they still should have won. These are supposed premiership footballers. Even players like Smith should be putting a performance. Attitude to blame here. Disgusting.
  4. But we musnt sign a right winger, coz Joey has been amazing there!! We dont need a squad man, just a starting 11 remember!?

How anyone can blame anyone other than the players is beyond me.
  6. Heard a rumour that Citeh have offered £10 million for Henerson, Mackems want £16, City said no.
  7. :iamatwat: You've got love comments like this. You do realise we have one the best home records in the entire country over the last 12 month don't you? When did Newcastle become Barcelona? Unbelievable confidence from you bud and comments like that generally come back to bite you on the arse. Tell you what, why not pick one comment in 30 and comment on it, ignoring the rest around it which are far more sensible? The majority of fans, both on here and in general realise that this match isn't going to be a walk in the park. We would be happy with a point. We realise that Sunderland aren't going to lie down and take a raping like they did in October. But you concentrate on the one post which isn't typical of the general opinion. No real fun in replying to the sensible posts Too fair the general opinion on here appears to be that you will be delighted with a draw and you are away so it would be a great result for you however I don't know a single Sunderland fan who would settle for a draw. Well of course, you want revenge for the humilation we gave you at our place though.

Fair point, ask 99% of Newcastle fans and they will all say they would take a point right now.
  9. City fan at work knows someone who works for the MEN (spot on about CH before I heard any rumours) says we have made an official approach to Citeh for Wayne Bridge on loan. Wouldnt understand this at all unless Pars doesnt fancy Jose?!? WB is going to come here and warm the bench. edit: didnt read his email properly. Apparently they will only sell and we walked away.

is that good or bad? good. deal done.
  11. Don't click on it then. It is a bit daft though isn't it? The idea that Victoria Beckham could be persuaded to come to the north east is a joke. Its a 2 month loan. She wouldnt come.

Me and my mate saw a spitting double of him jogging near Benton training ground today. Im sure he isnt near that stage yet though, so was probs just a double of him.
  13. Nolan doesn't play well when he plays 2 games in 3 days. You also said drop Shola. I was one of Nolans biggest critics, but we are not the same without him. He needs to be in the team.
  14. Its the state of affiars im afriad.
  15. I assume you mean, if there was no way of keeping him top clubs would have to pay big money. I think he's key to your progress over the next couple of years. Selling him would be quite disastrous at this moment in time, IMO. of course. easily one of our top 3 players. Has been brilliant. If any of the top clubs want him, then we should be demanding top money i.e Essien. didnt Ramies also cost £20 + million?
  16. crazy talk, we are simply not the same team without Nolan... for some reason.
  17. Great player. Not worried about people noticing him. If they didnt, it wouldnt mean he wasnt performing. If top clubs want him, they can pay top money for him.
  18. Whats he said? Asked about Keane and Bentley, said something about yes there's truth in both, Combined £13m fee i'd guess. Not a chance mate.
  19. Much better from him. Hopefully will give him a confidence boost,.
  20. Marks are given for influence, not effort. His running off the ball in the first half was excellent. Doesnt deserve a 5
  21. People giving Lov a 5 need to have a word. He worked very hard in the first half.
  22. He seems to be at his best when he knows the full back is close to him. The little dink with the outside of the foot and runs on to it. Its when he has a load of room he struggles. He was very good today thought i thought.... apart from his final ball.
  23. Colo, Barton, Tiote were the hero's for me today. Massive win. Get the fuck in.
