the thing is, when i brought up your poor attendences before, people were going on about it being a cup match and its different when it comes to the premiership but now we know what utter crap that excuse was. I think you're confused. I believe 48000 was the second highest attendance this premiership weekend, only behind manu v chelsea

Hard worker, brilliant touch, intelligent player. Has more than earned a new contract, and maybe the east stand's naming rights. and agreeance on martins being good, i felt so sorry for him
-
Well you're true in some respects... only i remember the only other game he played out wide® for us, which turned out to be the game that he got injured, and he put in a couple of sublime crosses that day aswell, very early in the game. He got injured but he was appalling in that game! It's the quickest ive ever thought "oops, we mayve made a mistake here"

Duff has not met expectations, whereas luque has just been plain crap. Duff, no question. There's no way luque was better than duff has been on thursday, it's just that people expect so little of luque.

I'm afraid, there is no particular 'true fans' area - just make sure youre not in the expensive corporate areas.

If he has signed a new contract, he's obviously more concerend with money than playing football

I hate charvs, but i love the pogo and shoes off chants. As people have said we need something new, interesting and that's exactly what those chants are. and why are the ultras promoting the singing of "harry roberts"? i always feel ashamed hearing that

One thing on Saturday I'm surprised has been swept under the carpet.

was it cesc that dragged dyer down on the break, cynically? That pissed me off. He was dishing the yellows out for us and brushing aside worse things by them -
We didnt sell chopra anyway, we offered to keep him and he refused

According to wiki, he won SPL young player of the year last season, and fans' and players' player at celtic. He's 23, scored 16 goals last season. Has been injured alot and i believe he scored in the shearer testimonial

Don't get sucked in man. He always has a good run or 2 that makes you think "he's finally changed" but a howler is just aorund the corner. changed his mind

I dont see how you can get negativity out of that. Great performance in every area of the pitch. Some of our attacking players were quiet, but that#s to be expected and they did their job. The defence werent by-passing the midfield. Midfield were coming to defence, attack to midfield and giving it back instead of running aimlessly if there's nothing on. Only thing is, it shows we can battle, but doesnt prove we can break down lesser teams.

I'd have him. Would work with owen or martins i think. Doubtful they'd sell him though And we shouldnt have to play the long ball, he's got good feet.
-
Not for a bog standard defeat but i think 5 or more could see to it.

Beattie would be a good option right now, but how much would he cost? Is he playing regularly for Everton and is he scoring? Last time i checked he wasn't doing so well, maybe a move would suit all parties. Nah he's not getting a game at Everton. He's grabbed a couple of goals - a respectable amount i think considering how much he's played I wouldnt say no to Hartley, but Pressley's getting on and Gordon wouldnt come. He's too good to be second choice here.
-
I'd like to see James Beattie here. I rate him, and i think he'd come. Would play well with martins or owen. I dunno what happens to martins when owen's back :S

"michael owen he scores goals, so does shearer" to the tune of "michael owen scored a goal halleujah" sang by the scousers We stand though and pompy dont B). What's the source btw?

To stay up. However, id rather just stay up and win a trophy than finish midtable or even 6th/th.
