Argh man, it's stupid kids again. That does nothing for the credability of the cause. They dont have a clue, theyre just charvs wanting to vent agression.

Last part is taking it to far tbh. Agree with captaincy comment though. So telling the very people who pay his wages and look up to him to feck off is O.K. No other job in the world would you even get a second chance, cheeky cockney ****. I very much doubt that the comment was aimed at the people looking up to him. It would be at people calling him a wanker in his face.

So who then?

Last 3 clubs i think - surely it wont happen 4 times!

Ditto I thought he'd walk on Monday, but seems not

Parker is one of our best and most passionate players, and should be treasured not booed. Granted he's been fairly anonymous in these crap games, but so was shearer as captain! East stand idiots booing him better not drive him out the club. Fair play to him giving some back if he was getting abuse.

I completely agree with everything.

Some good points/observations made by Kevin Gallagher
Superior Acuña replied to James's topic in Football
Gallagher for manager! As for the luque situation, i believe moore got injured so they had to reconsider their actions -
I dont think he specifically got booed, just the team in general when they did crap
-
I dont see why not. We shouldve gotten to the Semi when we came 14th, and boro were crap last year and were one game away.

Interesting quotes from Nicky Butt in the Sun...
Superior Acuña replied to James's topic in Football
Worryingly, another player is talking about the possibility of the club getting relegated, and seems to suggest that certain individuals at the club are tight when it comes to money. Still doesn't stop the annual dividend being paid out, and lets face it, our poor league form is hardly the fault of those who work at the canteen. If you read the whole interview on skysports, he gurantees we'll be nowhere near the bottom at the end of the season. -
I know. I'm not willing to risk my life for a match, so if i thought i was in danger, i wouldnt go. West ham were obviously going to have more fans, it was a one off special occasion for them. Their first in ages and their last in ages. I bet alot of wives after they saw the sunday sun were saying "youre not going to that" and im sure it didnt exactly compell others.

Well said - if he's dropped on Saturday Roeder's just cutting his nose off to spite his face. Rossi and Luque may have the makings of a decent short-term partnership, especially with Luque in a more familiar position of second striker. I wouldnt complain if luque started, and was impressed tonight, but the goal required no ability and is nothing to get carried with - and owen always tries to involve himself if nothings happening. I'm really happy for luque, but i wont be slagging roeder off for not starting him as the sibs been very promising. Having said that, i must reitterate i thought he was good tonight, and did more than the goal despite what some say.

I have two questions in reply to your question. Are you 'avin a laugh? Is he havin a laugh?! .... No way. Parkers a great leader, full of passion but importantly quality too.

Palermo V Newcastle United - Post Match Thoughts.
Superior Acuña replied to BlufPurdi's topic in Football
Very good performance. Milner, Krul, Emre, Butt and Zog i thought were particularly good. We now MUST beat Sheff utd. Perhaps we'd be better sitting back and hitting on the counter :/ -
aye i know was gunna post about that And as everyone has said too many times, "unbelievable". Who needs Paul Julio, weve got Tim Krulio.

Will never happen, especially after the denial. Freddy knows hed be even less popular.
-
You HAVE to be joking.......!!?? Have to be joking cos he thinks we wont get relegated. We wont get relegated. The lack of desire, ideas or aim to score in the second half isnt exactly cause for celebration either
-
Was the team really better though? Shearer wasnt really upto much, nor chopra. Bowyer and parker were mainly injured. We've gained Duff, Rossi, the mighty sib and martins. I know not the greatest summer, but dont really think we weakened, at least much.
-
I never understood why kenny didnt work. Great manager and talks sense. I'd wished hed stayed longer.

Newcastle United V Charlton Athletic - Post Match Thoughts.

First-half diagnosis? Good, shouldve been a couple up. Rossi looked really good as did Nobby. Opposition must be noted though. Second-half diagnosis? Rubbish. Guttless, clueless and no foreward thinking. Full-time diagnosis? Eugh. This is no slump. Star man for United? Rossi. Worst United player? Titus. Generally ok, but shouldve been the match loser letting bent through. Opposition comment? Crap. Toon-pros? Rossi looked really good and could be brilliant. Made chances in first half to win comfertably, shame we dwelled on them...again. Toon-cons? Apart from the obvious, Rossi wont be staying. Lateness of milner and lack of luque. Post-match feelings? -
I'm not his biggest fan by a longshot, but i think when weve got one fit striker, playing a midfielder upfront and are creating nothing, and need a goal he should be given a chance.
