Need Stoke to get a draw or win tomorrow and City to destroy these lot and they are proper fucked I reckon

It's not just what Williamson has, it's what Taylor doesn't. Rightly or wrongly, I've got it into my head that Taylor makes basic errors (usually in picking up players or being too gung ho) and then blames others. You also have to take injuries into account. Say Taylor has had a run of games and we have an important game, I'd play him. Say Taylor is coming straight back from injury and is fit for an important game as his first game back, I'd go with Williamson. I honestly would. Taylor is better with ball at his feet, but that's all. Williamson is better at positioning himself and basic defending just absolute garbage when expected to do anything with the ball. He has played well when back in team tbh

"Pardew currently has a long-term deal on Tyneside and has done a good job since taking over in 2010." Also the bit about putting another club in turmoil. don't worry Steve you won't press ahead and appoint the cunt
-
Prob only get a couple of million for him. Put it towards a bid for Tom Ince
-
As form suggests we are mid table. Some unexpected moments and some utterly predictable shit. 6/10 Think we will finish 12th
-
You can say what you want about Poyet as a manager but in terms of likability he has absolutely none. Someone who s***s on dressing room floors is not a decent bloke. Not sure he even did that, just doesnt seem as bad as their previous cunts and I would have had him here
-
It doesn't look too bad from most views, but there's one angle showing it's a blatant red card. He left the floor so all bets off. No worse than that challenge on Adam Johnson though
-
Not sure I actually dislike Poyet, just the fact he manages them lot. Seems decent bloke tbh
-
There are managers that have a tactical nous for starters and wouldn't f*** about with things all the time. A good manager would be able to get us playing decent regardless of new signings. I would take just about anyone right now to get rid of him as it can't be worse. The restrictions around the players we sign are a problem but look at our squad as a whole and we should be able to deliver some sort of consistent performance every game. yes we will win, lose, draw some but hopefully would not be at different ends of the spectrum every time we play I agree with your second paragraph but come back to the original question - who would replace him that's better? Sure, there are good managers out there but none of them fit within Ashley's restrictive criteria. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that because of this, anyone we get in after Pardew would likely be worse. Should have been Martinez. I would go with a foreign manager, not sure who exactly but worth trying to get someone that can develop the team style and club as a whole. I just don't want a british manager anymore
-
Why can't we: - Sack the useless cunt - Employ a good manager that may cost us 10 million over 5 years - Tell him we have to sell to buy and money available based on success (Or he has 10 million a season) - Encourage him to develop youth side of the club Although Pardcunt is cheap we still do spend some money on players such as Sissoko, Mbiwa, Anita, Remy etc and seem willing to at times. Surely getting a better class of manager and explaining the constraints could prove as effective and potentially better return for Ashley. Also give the manager full control of the team and make changes he wishes within budget. Yes we don't have the resources of Man City, Chelsea etc but what we can do is set out a blueprint with a decent class of manager at the top of that. preferably one that can change and implement a style of play throughout the club.

The Official Alan Pardew Excuses Thread
nufc4eva replied to WarrenBartonCentrePartin's topic in Football
Yet half of our outfield players last night, Dummett, Anita, Ameobi, Cisse and MYM, have played even less. Only Debuchy has played all matches this season the commentator mentioned last night? If fatigue is the case, then it is Pardew that is responsible for not having a more fit squad. It's almost as I can buy the "exuse" because we do seem to be the most unfit team in the league. No other manager complains of this, what happened to all that fitness work ffs. They are professionals, how exactly are they tired after just a few games. -
There's quite many i can imagine. But you never know with Ashley though. I just want Pardew gone to start with. Sure, but is not a case of out of the fire into the frying pan? If Pardew goes, Kinnear will take over. Even if only temporarily, we still wouldn't then hire a top manager. It would need to be someone out of contract (i.e. no compensation to pay), prepared to work for low wages and prepared to work within the current structure (i.e. Ashley, Kinnear etc.). Between keeping Pardew and the unknown, i'd take my chances and see what happens. Cause one thing is for sure, Pardew isn't the man to take us forward. Amen to that brother, just take our chances whats the worst that can happen - struggling to think of anything worse than sticking with this clown for another 4 years

Ah for fuck sake, why do we have to play so close together, no time to get over the last dissapointment -
There are managers that have a tactical nous for starters and wouldn't fuck about with things all the time. A good manager would be able to get us playing decent regardless of new signings. I would take just about anyone right now to get rid of him as it can't be worse. Please, Fucking Please go for it Alan. You deserve it and would be welcomed like a hero. Don't worry about us we will soldier on without your wonderful guidance and tactical genius. Think about yourself
-
We've changed the training regime from Monday - Thursday = defending, Friday = attacking. It now seems to be more like: Monday 4-4-2, Tuesday 4-3-3, Wednesday 4-2-3-1 on the deck, Thursday 4-3-1-2, Friday 4-2-3-1 going long ball, then on Saturday we give them all a go for 15 minutes each. That must be the case because fuck me he changes it so often and he is so incapable of playing more than one formation, and it's not just formation the tactics are so different throughout games never mind in different games. He is so shit, deluded and full of excuses
-
It's not the one occasion though, we always seem to fail and its so predictable. How much longer can he have a team not moving forward at all and falling apart
-
It was David against Goliath. Goliath won. Something extraordinary. Like scoring a goal. Goals, you say? Suppose he did play 3 strikers today, but he had one of them playing as a left midfielder
-
He changed his formation and tactics once again, and although we had a good go and it worked for a while, it again was another change to how the team plays. Why can't he just decide on a way for us to play and master that one instead of thinking he is a tactical genius the cunt. It's either 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1, 4-4-2 or whatever we never look totally comfortable, and the tactics differ so much from game to game. Is it pass and retain the ball looking to find a break, or sit deep and counter, or is it get the ball and hoof it as much as possible. We are so disjointed and no common theme to the way we play, at least if he just picked a way of playing win, lose or draw and stuck with it we might have half a chance. He baffles the fuck out of me the way he plays Sissoko, Ben Arfa, Gouffran. We are so predictable to watch and don't play with much urgency at times. At 1-0 down we were just sitting deep not bothered at all and thats a common theme under this cunt, at least in the first half we looked like we had a bit of urgency about us.

FFS I know there will be older folk amongst us, but in 34 years we should have won something man. True but you have made feel that little bit older Ha, I feel old as fuck, god knows how you feel. It's just so fucking depressing knowing you are unlikely to see us win a trophy in your lifetime. How can that be man, it's fucking tragic. I'm so close to giving up on this shit and not wasting time with it anymore

Oh and Sissokho is fucking garbage
