Ha, it would be Pards going i've got all these new players, heres what i'm gonna do, put them all on the bench and rape you with the team that lost to Reading. That will show you
-
Why is he not playing the experienced players regularly? He still has Dunne also, surely he would be a better option at the back than what they have
-
Is Benteke rapid then? I've always seen him as a big lad with good touch. Likes to compete against full-backs when the ball's put in. I don't think he looks a slouch like. He looks a right handful and will probably face up against Colo with Gabby aiming for Willo/Taylor if either plays.
-
Like Debuchy? Yeah but Simmo was injured, Willo don't do injuries :: - na I expect instant impact really, just hope Pards is with it
-
If we are lucky I would expect to see him start a game come March once he has been bedded in
-
who will hoof it if Willo don't start, these are integral to Pardews plan to nick a 1-0 defeat
-
I would be a massive mistake to play Willo against Benteke and Agbonlahors pace, same with Taylor. If MYM is as fast as suggested would probably be best way to combat them
-
Yet he starts Shola out wide even when we've got wingers on the bench. But I agree, there's not a chance in hell Williamson will start this game. If he doesn't have Williamson what will he do for set pieces though? Willo is critical to that set piece routine, what will success look like without him
-
He played Shola right wing against Reading, all bets are off after that and he could quite frankly be certifiable - I literally have no idea what he will do
-
You hope - I think his lineup will say it all, if he's bold and plays the 3 of them then I will have a lot of faith in him. If he holds them back and keeps the same lineup from Reading I will worry about our future
-
Would be happy with that I reckon
-
If he does then he needs sacking just for that. He didn't. He said 'It is about the energising of the group. You have to understand that even if the new guys don’t play against Villa, they have already made an impact' That does not equate to non of the new signings will start at Villa. This is a pardism and essentially means "I love Shola bitches and my man Willo will rock that shit at the back"
-
Hopefully or he hopes that having them on the bench will put the shitters up Shola, Williamson and Jonas that if their shit (Snigger) they may be out the team, hoping that all the players lift their game. Seriously I think he genuinely believes that competition for places will make Shola play like Drogba, Willo like Cannavaro and Jonas like Messi - obviously I hope he has some common sense in his head that an up for it Sissokho and Mbiwa will lift Cabaye, Debuchy, Cisse etc to beat these fuckers
-
Aye, with some of his previous selections you wouldn't put it past him, surely he isn't that thick though ?. You would hope he isn't that stupid after shouting for signings. To now get them and then leave them on the bench would be shocking. If nothing else I think Sissokho and Mbiwa should start with maybe Marv left wing and Oberwank on the right but I suspect he will opt for Shola again and he loves Jonas. Please prove me wrong Pards, do the right thing and lets roll over these not roll over for these
-
I worry from Pardews comments in Sunday Sun today that he won't start any of them which would be a total fucking joke. He has to at least start Gouffran I reckon in place of Shola and I would be shocked if Sissokho and Mbiwa never played unless he puts Taylor in at Centre Half (If Williamson is there I will cry)
-
With Sissoko in mf we'll have more control and hopefully pards will take the chains off. Attacking Villa is the way to beat them (as daft as that sounds). Sit back and we're asking for trouble as their attack is the only thing going for them. If we're one - nil up then we need to press on imo, not sit back and invite them on. Definitely agree with that I reckon Pards will come up with some bat shit crazy formation and tactics that involve Santon, Debuchy, Colo, Taylor, Williamson, Mbiwa, Haidara, Jonas, Perch, Cabaye and Shola probably: Colo Willo Taylor Mbiwa Debuchy Haidara Santon Cabaye Perch Jonas Shola
-
Would be really surprised if we bring more players in but fuck me would it show ambition. We would all of a sudden look a decent squad of players, with options. Be over the fucking moon if we sign more players
-
I think it is must win because it will lift us so much going into the Chelsea and Spurs games
-
£4m IIRC. Ok so we have spent a total of 8.5 million for that team - just class really. We have signed 8 of our first choice 11 since Pardew came here 2 years ago so no excuses now, he may not scout them but I have no doubt he has some say in positions as we have bought in right areas so it is his team
-
Roughly our first choice 11 now has cost us 55 to 60 million without taking the money we made from player sales off that. Probably ends up at 12.5 million with Ba, Enrique and Carroll @ 47.5 million. Not bad for that team eh. What did we get for Nolan?
-
That's a good side there. Do you reckon he'll start the 3 of them though? There appears to be some serious movement and pace in that side like
-
They will either go 1 of 2 ways after this, come out fighting and hurt us or just spiral out of control, a lot of young players and no signings is going to make it difficult for them to recover from this I reckon
-
We were going to spend about the same on Remy.. No reason why we wouldnt still have that amount ear marked. I believe we had every intention of signing Mbiwa anyway so don't see why we wouldn't still have cash available for Gouffran unless by bringing forward our plans it included Haidara, Gouffran and Sissokho because we failed on Remy. Would be unreal if we get another forward in like
-
What's important now is that they get the results to keep us up and then try and push up the league and at the end of the season they review what went wrong and make sure it doesn't happen again. They need to peddle Shola, Williamson and Jonas at the end of the season and bring in good squad players, preferably british and hungry, maybe look in championship and league 1 and see if any players can step up
-
Quite singing "we signed him for less, you offered higher, but we signed him for less"
