Has a great burst of pace, would love to see him use it more, scares the shit out of teams Difficult to know where he fits in when cabaye fit
-
Even with these two, no new CB would ruin it for me. There's nothing thrilling about more starts for Williamson We are desperate for a centre half more than any position so would be a bit pissed off if not sorted despite 2 class players coming in
-
On our way down at alarming rate
-
Absolutely mental management tonight. Shola was fucking terrible and playing cisse on wing is stupid. Also perch right back was fucking terrible. His substitutions were just taking the piss
-
Please please do not even think of starting shola, it just won't work. Cisse through centre with oberwank and marveux has to be it - or maybe jonas if fit (he will prob play jonas, shola, cisse knowing the muppet)
-
I think krul has been really suspect this season tbh, kicking shit and shot stopping not great either
-
I am hoping he is not that stupid with ba going. He would have to be mental
-
Oh you know its gonna happen
-
Keeps them occupied though down that side
-
Who at LB then?
-
Wouldnt be playing perch at rb if baines and piennar do as he will be torn a new one. Santon over there best bet
-
Tavernier isn't ready and we've already seen that this season. I don't think Tav is that far off just needs a few sub appearances first. I would happily just sell Simpson for whatever and stick with Tav for next few months. When is Raylor back anyway
-
Lets see, bettering his career, pay rise, London, a manager that isn't Pardew, genuine chance of champs league football next season, huge sign on fee, bigger club, better players, a manager that actually won things, not far from title challenge . List goes on Can we blame him? No. Don't forget lesser chance of first team football. It isn't a done deal yet. Fairly sure Ba will want first team football as a stipulation in his contract and also to be played centrally. Where that leaves Roman's plaything Torres , Lord knows. Yeh I still got a feeling he will stay until the summer, when we can't agree a suitable contract and he will be sold then. Because I'm not sure what the Chelsea's medical team is going make of his knee condition, and how Ba's agent is going to complicate things. Could only really see Man City coming in for him if Chelsea don't sign him. Don't see where he would fit in at Man U or Arsenal(Just signed Giroud and Podolski and probably need to strenghten defence) tbh
-
He goes missing at times but fuck me looks a lot more comfortable on the ball and going forward. Just needs that discipline really. Not like Simpson never goes missing. I have the recurring memories of him stood there with hands on hips after trying to get back. Fucking awful player
-
As much as I can't stand this guy, Williamson is a priority of getting rid, followed by a close second in Simpson. Prefer both as top number 1 upper most priority to get rid. They are both garbage and our defence looks like it's had a stroke down the right hand side. Get a half decent centre half in as well and very good business. Would like to see right/left forward and possibly midfielder but would settle for defence being sorted out
-
Don't be daft will be last minute thing as usual - we tried. My mate reckons we are in for Kjaer on loan till end of season then permanent. Would take him as replacement for Williamson like

Why did one have to go? You could argue because they can't work together..... either Cisse is outwide and quite frankly useless or Ba and Cisse are up top and the whole team can't function. Despite the dreams of rotating Ba and Cisse it was never going to happen under this management so maybe in the long run shipping Ba out for someone who could you actually make the attack function as Ba and Cisse have never really functioned together. Will probably end up with egg on our faces but that's the rationale behind it i believe. I'm not even on about rotation per se. Again, despite everybody here getting a hard on for 433/451, that doesn't seem to be the formation Pardew favours most of the time, rightly or wrongly. I completely fail to see why we couldn't have two quality strikers. Isn't that the least any Premiership club aiming for Europe should have? People have a hard on for it because it's what suits the majority of our best players if they are put in the right positions anyway.... Pardew has used almost exclusively since the Southampton defeat and i know it hasn't brought results ( mainly due to injuries and other factors so players are out of position) but i feel performances have performed. I agree but it was never going to happen, as a two they don't work and you know what this board is like..... In an ideal scenario i'd like to see us bring in a forward to play wide, rotate Ba and Cisse for central striker spot but Ashley will never sanction that in a million years. I'm still skeptical because im not confident in this board doing the right thing but if we bought a winger-cum striker like Remy to replace him and put Cisse back in the centre i'd believe the team would have actually improved. I share your skepticism. When have they ever replaced an important player in the same window? Only one I remember since Ashley took over is Nolan/Cabaye. Nolan was replaced by Cabaye in the same window. Yes, that was what I was saying.. We replaced Nzogbia with Ryan Taylor in same window Not sure if serious Clearly not but Beye and Simpson were same window as well I think

This is not FIFA or Football Manager. I bought Sebastien Jung, Kouyate, Rafinha and Brazilian Luiz Antonio and won first 14 games on FIFA 13, we should sign them it will definitely work and i'm top of the league
-
Tbf our injury list is missing another winger
-
Not just a striker either it needs to be a striker like Remy for example if we buy another "9" i think i'm going to cry. I just hope we get a purple
-
He should have been and would have scored just as many I reckon
-
I thought we were over trying to add 20+20 to get 40 goals a season. If only it were that simple... Have we not yet arrived at the conclusion that Ba and Cisse aren't comparable as a strike partnership? How often do wingers and strikers form an effective striker partnership? The only reason they're not playing together is because our dear manager doesn't know how to make it work so he throws one out wide. And there is the biggest problem that Pards does not appear to have a clue or plan this year. Even if we buy the players can he mould them into something worthwhile?
-
The hope being clinged to is that Cisse will play through the centre and we bring someone for wing. I for one think he will start banging them in when he is main man Anita - Tiote Ben Arfa Cabaye Marveaux Cisse Makes me drool tbh... Yip, looks good with Debuchy and a CB we would be a lot better and hopefully Remy / another on left wing with Cabaye/Marveux and Bigi fighting for that midfield role.

The natives will go wild if they see any accurate crossing going on. Must cut that out. I reckon he will start hitting the first man the moment he puts on a NUFC top
