    Alan Pardew

The quotes are absolutely appalling, but i'm kind of at the stage now where I hope we bring in the players he talks about and see what other excuses he has up his sleeve. I bet he has a book full of them but I see no option apart from club backing him and watching him fail. It's like quotes about persuading Shola to stay - just mental and shows the kind of player he likes, I just hope we find a happy medium where the players we buy are not totally atrocious with ball at their feet.
  2. Fully believe our first signing / departure will tell us everything we need to know about the direction we are heading. I know we are now stuck with him and hope we get players to suit the way he plays (What other option is there) - just hope they are not has beens and bang average players with no technical skills at all.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Not quite, but we need width and he doesn't provide it, and under the current manager we need players that will suit his style ultimately. I think a few people need to take their blinkers off regarding Ben Arfa, I don't think he does anywhere near enough over 90 minutes with or without the ball

Not me, I fucking hate the bloke(s), but fundamentally if the cunt is in charge next season we need width and players to provide crosses.

I love his tekkers, but I just see to little end product from him and he does drift in far to much. We need someone to attack the wings if Pardew is in charge, or we need all players freely moving about in final third. It's annoying when we have just our fullback on the right with noone in front because Ben Arfa has drifted in. He doesn't make runs for balls to be played to him, generally just frustrating GTFO Beat me to it. I thought the first post was bad enough. Ok maybe cringe worthy choice of words, however I standby the fact he is to inconsistent and doesn't offer enough often enough. We need attackers to attack and not just drift around f***ing about with it Dear actual God. How is that what you see, man? He is capable of some individual moments of brilliance, however it's very occasional and not consistent enough. The amount of times he gave the ball away in last 4 or 5 games was ridiculous and contributed very little, I have just grown a bit sick of it and won't hero worship for the fucking sake of it

  7. They can be, I suppose. They certainly will be. Not entirely fair, though. I think injuries can be partially attributed to him as a lot of our injuries are due to poor training and preperation IMO. Too many hamstring injuries to be a coincidence for my liking. Having said that it wouldn't be fair to put the blame solely on Pardew as there are obviously other factors. We have had horrific injury issues in past and I put all of them down to bad coaching / training regimes

He has 7 or 8 French, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Argentina, Dutch internationals around him, what more does he need? He looked so unfit at back end of season and overweight, just generally had enough. Think he produces mint youtube clips but having watched every game he has played for us I don't see enough on a regular basis He needs them to stop admiring his play and actually move about, give him options. I swear most of the time Pardew's plan is "Give it to Hatem, wait for goal". Oh I agree they need to move about and stuff, but since that's not Pardews mantra, I think direct wingers would serve a better purpose for us with that clown in charge. If someone offered 20 million for Ben Arfa I would snap their hands off (And i'm not mental or delusional), I just don't think he has ever fully realised his potential.
  9. On the other hand... ITK-transfer rumours ‏@PremierITK 26 May Tiote to Athletico Madrid has basically happened #nufc "ITK-transfers rumours" sounds pretty legit The only first teamer we should be looking to sell imo(given up hope of Jonas ever leaving the starting XI never mind the club). We wont mind sadly as nobody would pay much for him now. I wouldn't sell him fwiw unless we can get a good defensive midfielder to replace.

Like Obertan? Hell no - I will clarify, someone with a bit of ball control when running with it, not afraid to take someone on, capable of crossing from byline, doesn't look ridiculous, doesn't resemble a light bulb, offers genuine width and is direct. We need at least one of these on left or right. At moment we have zero width and crossing capabilities.

  13. I'd like to see him back in the league. Man Utd might be strangely likable now Ferguson isn't in charge. Man Utd will never be likeable

    Hatem Ben Arfa

I would be willing to sell him tbh, looks fat as fuck and to inconsistent for us. Would like to see us with two proper wingers attacking and getting crosses in. He makes us narrow as he won't stick to the Right
  15. Cisse hasn't been found out, Pardew has. The lad needs support. He still has it if given the chances
  16. He siged a 6.5 year deal in Feb 2011 didnt he? Starting to wonder if these long contracts make people too comfortable and are the reason for massive drops in performance for him and our illustrious leader
  17. Glad we are promoting from within, he any good? You probably need to know the second bit before stating the first! FWIW I have no idea. Only 6ft 2" so probably shit
  18. Glad we are promoting from within, he any good?
  19. It will just be a total farce again, can't believe they have not already arranged games.
  20. The 5-0 over Man Utd, still best match I have seen Enjoyed hammering Spurs, Leicester, Sheff Wed, but for sheer shock factor the Man Utd was best
  21. We played there yesterday, managed to come up against a load of younguns that just raped us (We are all 27-47 age range), their oldest was 27 - pure carnage, great day out though and good to play on pitch
  22. Aye and he's shown his class for like 1 season in his entire career. Not true - was class at Zenit. Played well at Arsenal bar the last couple of seasons but they never played in him preferred position. Given the chance he'd find his form. For one season when they won the Europa League.... as for Arsenal his good form didn't even stretch past 6 months. Remember we were in for him when he went to Arsenal, was class first year like

First game of the season. We beat Spurs first game of season and end up 16th ffs

    Alan Pardew

Just hope he isn't pinning his hopes on that fixing everything. Find it astounding he didn't mention our approach play, and how we drive forward. Because that is our biggest issue For sure was just talking about the Centre Back debate ( if there even is one ) everyone knows what our problems are i'm sure even Pardew does but i doubt he knows how to fix them. Totally agree, I don't think he has a clue how to fix the issues and clutches at straws (Big 6ft 4 ones at that)

    Alan Pardew

Spot on. We have defended very well in past when we get ourselves organised and in back to wall situations. Also against West Ham defended well. This is spot on around how we press like, we were very good at closing down last season
